1.Drop-out Rate
Dropout rate is increasing in the 3 consecutive
school years. It was observed that the main cause
of most students dropping out of school is financial-
related. Since SY 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 covers
the pandemic period, some students tend to work
so that they will be able to help their parents earn a
living, hence they were not able to participate in
school activities (NLPA), which eventually led to
dropping out of school. Another major reason why
students were not able to actively participate in
school activities is that they were asked by their
parents to look over their siblings and do household
chores while the parents are working, which also
resulted to dropouts. Dropout rate is a contributing
factor to low participation rate.
