DESCRIPTION
Accomplish the following table on the different text
structures. Give what is asked.
Why is text structure important?

• The readers can significantly improve

their comprehension and retention of
information when they can identify
and recognize the text structure of a
text.
It can also help the readers:
• 1.Organize information and details they
are learning in their minds while reading.
• 2.
Make connections between the details
being presented in a text
• 3.Summarize the important details shared
in a text.
It can also help the readers:
• 1.Organize information and details they

• 2.
Make connections between the details
being presented in a text
• 3.Summarize the important details shared
in a text.
Identify the text structures used in
different texts from your modules in
different subject areas.
• 1.A society cannot exist apart from culture. A society
may refer to group of people that follows or shares the
same cultures. People, as members of the society,
possess, produce, and also transmit culture but they
cannot consider themselves as culture. No culture can
exist without social interaction in society; meanwhile,
society cannot exist in the absence of people who have
learned to live and work together.
(Subject Area: UCSP)
• 2. When stress affects the brain, with its many nerve
connections, the rest of the body feels the impact as well. So, it
is logical to say that if your body feels better, so does your
mind. Exercise and any physical activity produce endorphins
chemicals in the brain that act as natural painkillers and also
improve the ability to sleep, which in turn reduces stress.
Meditation, acupuncture, massage therapy, even breathing
deeply can cause your body to produce endorphins. And
conventional wisdom holds that a workout of low to moderate
intensity makes you feel energized and healthy.
(Subject Area: HOPE 2)
• 3. Adolescence is the period when a young individual
develops from a child into an adult. There are many
changes that can happen to an adolescent like you and
some of those are: how you look, how you take your role
in the community, how other people expect you in making
decisions on your own, and how you perceive yourself.
Although the "Self" is one of the factors of what we
thought about ourselves, it is also the result of what we
think and/or do.
(Subject Area: PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT)
• 4. There are two categories of research methodology.
Quantitative Research is a positivist scientific method which
refers to a general set of orderly discipline procedures to
acquire information. Mostly, it is concerned with numbers
and measurement. On the other hand, Qualitative Research is
defined as the naturalistic method of research which deals
with the concern of human difficulty by discovering it
straightly. It is concerned with the experiences,
understanding, and words of the individual.

(Subject Area: PRACTICAL RESEARCH 1)

5. Lots of students fail classes. Some students fail
because the work is too hard for them. Other
times they may fail because they are lazy, and
don’t do any work. Another reason why students
may fail is if they don’t go to school. If you’re not
in class, you may miss a lot. Many students fail
classes every quarter.
With your partner, discuss your answers.
Then, give the following to prove your
