    We use the present
    continuous to talk about:
    • Action happening now

    (e.g. You are listening to your teacher)

    • Now you are looking at the screen and at the


    same time...

    The dog is running.


    PRESENT CONTINUOUS

    • We use it to describe pictures and


    photos
    (e.g. In the photo,
    a horse is laughing)
    The structure of the present
    continuous tense is:

     to be V + ing

    The bird is flying.

     make + ing making

     shop + ing shopping
