DAY 1 MONDAY
Objectives:
 Demonstrate understanding of ways of sorting materials and
describing them as solid,liquid,or gas based on their
observable properties.
 Be able to group common objects found at home and in
school according to solids,liquids,and gas.
 Name different objects around us
Classify the objects based on their characteristics

matter.)
 - What makes up an object?
 Divide the class into small groups.
Class ,we will visit a place in our school. Each of
you will collect 10 objects in solid form.

Objectives:

DAY 3 WEDNESDAY
Objectives:

 Name solids of different shapes.
Name solids of different shapes.
 Checking Assignment
 Sing the song “ I Have”.

 What different shapes did you observe?

 Are these solids of different shapes around us?
 (Processing questions may serve as an assessment tool on the
knowledge of different shapes.)
 Bring ruler and two solids of the same kind. Big and small.
Long and short ,fat and thin ,which are not heavy to carry in
their bags.
DAY 4 THURSDAY
Objectives:

 Be able to group common objects found at home and in
school according to solids,liquids,and gas.
 Compare and classify solids according to size.
Comparing and Classifying Solids
 Show these two pictures to the class.
 Show a ruler and meter stick. Compare the two.
 What are the solids written on your chart.
 How are they similar to the other.
 Draw five objects with different sizes.
 How do you compare and classify solids?
 Prepare five objects.
 List down objects found at home. Find the exact
measurement. Make a chart.
DAY 5 FRIDAY
Objectives:

 Be able to group common objects found at home and in
school according to solids,liquids,and gas.
 Classify solids according to texture

 (Ask the pupils to copy the table on the board on
their paper.)
 Pick five solids on your bag.
 Show real objects of solids.
 What characteristics is been observed from the

 (Give them activity sheets to perform.)
 Solids have different textures.
 Group solids according to their texture.
 List down names of solid objects found at home
garden.
