Metal Beam

Crash Barriers
Introduction
 Metal Beam Crash Barrier also known as
guard rails, they are ideal for using as
traffic safety systems in highways. Widely
used on all types of roads, particularly
embankment, close to cliffs, bridges and
canals. These guard rails prevent the
vehicles from leaving the road or from
crossing on to the other carriageway.
Providing elasticity & deferability for
absorbing and dissipating the energy
induced by impact with the vehicle, the
metallic structure of guardrails act as
median barriers on roads.
What Are Crash Barriers Made Of ?

These vehicle crash barriers are made

of sturdy corrugated steel which offers
solid protection against the damage that
a wayward heavy vehicle can cause,
both to pedestrians and buildings or
expensive equipment.
Types Of Crash Barrier

Types of Crash Barriers are divided into

three groups, based on the amount they
deflect when struck by a vehicle and the
mechanism the barrier uses to resist the
impact forces.
