Automatic Fluid (ATF)
– Low-viscosity ATF WS is used for fuel economy by
reducing its viscosity

ATF Filling Procedure
– Difference from conventional type
• The ATF level gauge (dip-stick) and filler tube have
been discontinued
• The ATF temperature warning light is used to check
that the ATF is at the correct temperature for
measuring
• An overflow plug is used to measure the correct
level of the fluid
• After filling the transmission, there is no need to
check the ATF level until the next maintenance

Check Items
•Visually check for ATF leaks
of the following areas
- Overflow Plug
- Drain Plug
- Oil seal
- Each case joint, etc.

NOTE:
If there is no ATF leak from transmission,
check of the ATF level is no required
