Republic Act No. 10054
Mandatory Use of Motorcycle
INTRODUCTION
Helmets.
All motorcycle riders, including drivers and back riders,
shall at all times wear standard protective motorcycle helmets
while driving, whether long or short drives, in any type of road
and highway.Standard protective motorcycle helmets are
appropriate types of helmets for motorcycle riders that comply
with the specifications issued by the Department of Trade and
Industry (DTI).
VA code 46.2-1055 Windshield Wipers

Every permanent windshield on a motor

vehicle shall be equipped with a device for cleaning
snow, rain, moisture, or other matter from the
windshield directly in front of the driver. The device
shall be so constructed as to be controlled or
operated by the driver of the vehicle
House Bill no. 32 Motorcycle Safety
Riding Act

The Motorcycle Safety Riding Act seeks to reduce

“undesirable risks and hazards” and secure the safety of
both motorists and pedestrians by further regulating the
registration and operation of motorcycles. It aims to
establish a motorcycle safety riding program that will
require riders to register with any motorcycle clubs duly
recognized and accredited by the Land Transportation
Office (LTO), among others.
Why the researchers conduct this
study?
The researchers conduct this study to make the
lives of all motorcycle riders more safe because
motorcycles are different from other cars that are fully
coveredMarsand protected. Hence, during the rainy
season, motorcycle riders have difficulties in driving
due to heavy rains. Cars have wipers that help the
driver to see clearly when raining, but motorcycles do
not have wipers.
Thus, we decided to put wipers in the
helmet to allow riders to see clearly when
raining. The objectives of this study were to
help people, especially motorcycle riders,
by creating helmets with wipers to prevent
the brain from damage in an accident
during the rainy season.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
This study aims to produce and assess the performance of Helmet
with Wiper.
Specifically, this product sought answers to the following questions:
1. What is the level of effectiveness of Helmet Wiper in terms of:
1.1. Wiping Water
1.2. Wiping Dust
2. What is the level of effectiveness of Helmet Wiper in terms of:
2.1. Light Rain
2.2. Moderate Rain
2.3 Heavy Rain
3. Is there a significant difference between the
level of effectiveness of Helmet Wiper in terms
of intensity:
3.1. Light Rain
3.2. Moderate Rain
3.3.Heavy Rain
4. Based on the result of the study, what
improvement the researchers can be made?
STATEMENT OF THE HYPOTHESIS
To guide the researcher in the interpretation
of the research work, the null hypothesis is formulated.
1. There is no significant relationship between the
level of effectiveness of Helmet with Wiper in terms of
intensity:
1.1. Light Rain
1.2. Moderate Rain
1.3. Heavey Rain
Significance of the Study

This study would be beneficial to

motorcyclists, future motorcyclists
helmet owners and future
researchers.
RESEARCH DESIGN
This study used experimental research design wherein it
is defined by Mitchell (2015) as "experimental research
design" is centrally concerned with constructing research that
is high in causal (or internal) validity. Causal validity concerns
the accuracy of statements regarding cause and effect
relationships. The researchers use this kind of research
design to help readers to understand more clearly how the
data were obtained and, therefore, assisting them in properly
analyzing the result.
