    ABSTRACT:-

    The Indian Institute of Horticulture Research (IIHR) is an


    autonomous organization acting as a nodal agency for basic,
    strategic, anticipatory and applied research on various aspects of
    Horticulture such as fruits, Vegetable, Ornamental, medicinal and
    Aromatic plants and Mushroom in india.

    Horticulture is a sub-sector of agriculture which plays significant


    role in economy, human nutrition and employment.

    Horticultural commodities include fruits, vegetables,


    flowers, spices and condiments, which have grown steadily and
    turn into a major segment in agricultural trade.

    India climate favors production of a range of


    horticultural crops. The country has production rankings
    worldwide for citrus, mango, apricot, dates, potato, dry chilies
    and peppers, okra, onion, spinach, cauliflower and green peas.

    Despite a significant growth, the productivity of fruits


    and vegetables in Pakistan is low. The reasons are numerous,
    including poor seed and nursery, obsolete production practices,
    pests and diseases, and market failures.

    Application of advanced technologies, farm


    mechanization, and capacity building of growers and
    stakeholders are needed to improve productivity power .
    Aim:-
    The aim of the project is to provide all facilities required for
    agriculture development of a student and other users like
    faculty, security guard ,workers etc.
    I want this institute should work like a
    land mark.

    Objective:-
    The design of horticulture institute should be planned
    for multipurpose and varying level of spaces.

    Scope:-
    The site is 19.8 acre so that various agriculture activity and
    natural views can be provided inside college.

    METHODOLOGY:-
    •Preparing study report on courses and carrier objectives of
    this
    topic
    •Synopsis
    •Location of proposed site
    •Study on rules and regulations which will be followed in
    the
    respective area
    •Case studies
    •Finalization of requirements
    •Special study – study of self-supporting buildings.

    • Final presentation and thesis preparations
