Importance of Health to Personality

• It is important to have a healthy body and mind to enhance


our personality.
• By ensuring that our body is healthy, we are more assured of
protecting a positive image that reflects our personality.
• Body image influences self-esteem, confidence and
motivation.
• Healthy diet is also a great factor to ensure that accumulation
of disease.

• Nutrition- no junk foods!


• Personal Hygiene
• Exercising
- Traditional Methods (Yoga, Meditation, etc.).

EXERCISE
Yoga- is a form of exercise
that concentrates on different
positions and deep breathing
techniques. It can improve
your flexibility and posture
and relaxes your body and
mind.

Toning Classes/Gym- toning
classes are designed to firm up
your muscles, and usually
concentrate on areas like the
legs, bottom and stomach.
EXERCISE
Aerobics- it combines
rhythmic aerobic
exercise and includes
stretching and strength
training routines to
improve all elements of
fitness. It is usually
performed along with
music.

Walking and Jogging- could
also be done in leisure. It
improves the body and mind
especially our heart, lungs
and bones.

Sports- like basketball,
volleyball, swimming,
badminton and other sports
is also good way to keep
our body healthy. It
improves our health,
stamina, and muscle
coordination.
EXERCISE
Body Combat- uses
techniques from tai-chi,
boxing and karate. It is
meant to improve your
heart rate and working
of the lungs. There are
lots of kicking and
punching moves, which
require a fairy good
level of fitness.
IMPORTANCE OF LIVING A HEALTHY
• LIFESTYLE
Disease Prevention - the most important thing which a healthy lifestyle provide is the
immunity to the body against various diseases and many deadly viruses.
• Healthy Body and Mind - another advantage of healthy and living a healthy life is to
have a sound mind and a fit body.
• Longevity - a healthy lifestyle leaves a permanent effects on the habits and daily
routine activities of the person and if there are some bad habits they are changed to
good habits which result in the longevity of the life of the person leading a healthy
lifestyle.
• Mood Refreshment - a good and healthy lifestyle helps to refresh the mood of the
person and releases the stress and tension from the mind so that a person can perform
all his tasks with full attention and show amazing results.
• Boosts Energy - a healthy lifestyle also plays an important role in boosting the energy
of the body and providing a person a better performance in everything.
