Basic Tenses Revision

USE:

Present Continuous Tense
USE:
Examples:

Simple Past Tense

Remember!
For regular verbs, we add -ed. For irregular verbs, there is a special past
tense form.

regular verbs: play – played, watch – watched, want – wanted

irregular verbs: eat – ate, write – wrote, go – went

Be careful!
Use ‘did’ and the verb, but don’t change the verb to the past
When we use the NEGATIVE , we don’t change the main verb. We use form in QUESTIONS!
‘didn’t’ instead. Did you have a nice weekend?
What did you learn at school yesterday?
I didn’t watch TV. When did you see the film?

I didn’t go to school.

USE:
