 Measured by intelligence tests.
 “Impulsive decisions”
 To think abstractically, reason logically, think hypothetical
possibilities/impossibilities.
PSYCHOSOCIAL
DOMAIN
 Emotional maturity
 To give and receive affection
 Experience emotional satisfaction with their parents and
other significant love ones.
 Prepares the adolescent to parenthood.
Maladaptive ways such as engaging in
trouble and not accomplishing what
they set out to do.
HOW TO ESTABLISH YOUR
IDENTITY?
Discovering who they are and accepting
roles that are expected of them.
Society and conforming by these roles.
Discovering faith
Understanding the meaning of life.
Making choices.
 Developing goals
Maintaining hope are some of the
struggles than adolescents are faced with.
CROSSROAD
 The need to learn necessary skills in defining and
selecting the most appropriate way in achieving
their goals occupy most of their time.
VALUES INTEGRATION
 Deeper understanding of oneself in their physical,
cognitive and psychosocial domain will provide for a
better knowledge
 Knowing their selves by influencing the society and the
roles of conforming.
