    1 . Science:
    In the Indonesian dictionary, science is defined as knowledge about a field that is systematically
    arranged according to certain methods, which can be used to explain certain phenomena in the field of
    knowledge. In other words, we can know the definition of the meaning of science, which is something
    that is obtained from reading and understanding objects and events (Dafrita, no date).
    2 . Knowledge:
    Knowledge is awareness, or understanding of someone or something, such as facts, information,
    descriptions, or skills, that is gained through experience or education by discovering, or learning.
    (Oxford dictionary, 2018).

    According to Notoatmodjo (2007) there are 6 levels of knowledge, namely:


    1. Know 2-Comprehension 3- Application 4- Analysis 5- Synthesis 6- Evaluation
    Literature review

    3-Reading:

    Reading is one of the important aspects that need to be mastered because reading is the foundation of
    learning cross-disciplinary subjects. The ability to read is very important for finding a job or going to
    college. The ability to read plays an important role in improving individual life, abilities in school, and it
    is important to support the development of a country, because the ability to read provides many benefits,
    including adding to the repertoire of knowledge, opening up new information, the ability to explain new
    information to others, increase concentration, and also for entertainment (Rintaningrum, 2019).
    Purpose of reading:

    There are several variations of reading objectives, namely:

    (1) reading for study purposes (scientific review):

    (2) reading for the purpose of capturing the outline of the reading;

    (3) reading to enjoy literary works;

    (4) reading to fill spare time;

    (5) reading to find information about a term.


    The benefits of reading :

    1. Can stimulate mentally 2- can reduce stress


    The benefits of reading :

    3- Increase the insight and knowledge 4- Can increase vocabulary


    The benefits of reading :

    5-Can improve memory quality 6- Train thinking and analyzing skills


    The benefits of reading :

    7- Can improve focus and concentration 8-Train to be able to write well
