Proper storage of sandwiches is important after preparation. Sandwiches and their ingredients should be refrigerated and kept in airtight containers or wrapped tightly in moisture-proof packaging. Sandwiches can be frozen if kept longer than a day by wrapping them individually with wax paper and stacking with layers separated by wax paper. All sandwiches should be refrigerated at 0.5°C and ingredients used by their expiration dates.
