Implementation of the NUA at national and local level requires a clear


understanding on how NUA offers a paradigm shift in the urban development.

As stated in the document, the underlying shared visions of NUA are cities for
all, equal rights, and sustainable cities. NUA also strongly urges to leave no
one behind, to build sustainable and inclusive urban economies, and to ensure
environmental sustainability. It is also equally important to address the need of
a coherent and effective NATIONAL URBAN POLICY.

The introduction book of NUA provides translation of NUA in Bahasa


Indonesia to reach wider audience of urban stakeholders. Also, this is the first
book of eight series of the Practical Guide of the Implementation of the
NUA in Indonesia.
