FORMULA: to get the area of a square

A=SxS
L=6

W=3
Area of Rectangle = Length x Width
A=LxW
A = 6 x 3 = 18
A = 18 square-tiles
30 square-tiles

40 square-tiles

30 square-tiles

30 + 40 + 30 = 100 square tiles

Let us solve this sample problem:

Area of a Rectangle = Length x Width

A=LxW
A = 15 x 10 = 150
A = 150 square-tiles
6

A=LxW
A=6x3
A = 18
7

A=LxW
4 A= 4 x 7
A = 28
