Adriel: Which classroom are we talking about.
CLASSROOM
Erika: it doesnt say it specifically on which one but I get the Idea that we need to
look for it in the epas classroom.
Joshua: hmm I think I know where that is, what do we need to do there
Erika: The map dictates that we should look for the applications of the tactile
buttons and how it can help to our current lives today.
Jem: I think where here, is this the one?
Erika: Nice, this is the classroom, we should go inside and start to look for the
objective.

Applications of Tactile switches
■ Tactile switches are used in operating units of
devices and equipment to enable setting of operating
modes and operating conditions as well as to start and
stop the operation. Devices and equipment include
temperature controller, air conditioning systems,
inverter control panels, and measuring instruments and
medical devices.
■ Tactile switches are used in control panels of devices
such as printers and multifunction printers to enable
Applications of Tactile switches
■ Stuff such as video game controllers use tactile switches that
allow you to control your games and characters within it. Television
remotes also use tactile switches for their buttons, as again each
press completes a different circuit, corresponds to a different
function, and transmits that function to the television through
infrared light and more recently Bluetooth connectivity.
■Tactile switches are used often in various electronic music
equipment such as keyboards and drum machines. These operate in
a similar way to computer keyboards, however, have enhanced
functionality to make it more suitable to play music on. Depending
Applications of Tactile switches
■Tactile switches were also used in both landline and mobile
phones for number buttons but has recently been phased out by
touch screens that can call tactile switches their ancestor.
■The use of tactile switches as buttons is so widespread in fact, that
the keyboard buttons used to write this article use tactile switches
Adriel: hey why do I always get the long paragraph
one.
Jem: ehehe, that okay, just look at the bright side atleast
were now aware of the useful characteristics of this
kind of buttons
Joshua: I agree, I was just today years old, when I
found out that the buttons I press in my consoles are
tactiles.
Jem: Me too, I found ou that my digital piano may have
the possibilities of using a tactile.
Erika: The keyboards we use to type for the script are
also using tactiles.
Adriel: yes, tactiles switches, indeed have a lot of uses
Joshua: so in conclusion, Tactile switches are an
intelligent choice when low-power, momentary action
power control or data input is required in a product, and
where tactile and auditory feedback is a desirable
feature. CUI Devices offers a line of tactile switches
featuring compact packages, a range of actuator
heights, and multiple configuration options.
Jem: Woah, How did you suddenly become a witty
talker? Eheh just kidding, anyways, I think that was it.
