     Creates delivery schedule lines for externally procured material with valid
    delivery schedules
     It also creates purchase requisitions for all other externally procured material
     The sourcing BAdi PPH_MRP_SOURCING_BADI => SOS_DET_ADJUST allows you
    to change the MRP element type of a material receipt to be created by MRP
     Implement this BAdi if you want MRP Live to create planned orders rather
    than purchase requisitions for externally procured materials.
    Backward Scheduling
     The procurement dates are determined on the basis of the independent
    requirement dates for the finished product. For e.g., sales orders
     Lead time Scheduling – Dates for planned orders for in-house production are
    derived from work centers and routings.
     Length of individual operations are calculated using formulas.
     Formulas are based on standard values and planned quantities.
    Key Innovations
    MRP Live
     MRP Live, an MRP run optimized for SAP HANA, reads material receipts and
    requirements, calculates shortages, and creates planned orders and purchase
    requisitions all in one database procedure.
     Minimization of the volume of data that has to be copied from the database
    server to the application server and back, which considerably improves
    performance.

    MRP Live
     The MRP Dispatcher enables an automatic determination and selection of
    planning mode per material.
     The functionality of the new mode will be enhanced continuously. As a result,
    more and more materials can be planned in the new mode.
     Special functionality will remain in the classic mode.
     Existing customer enhancements will also be supported in the classic mode.

    Simplifications in MRP
     Simplified Sourcing: Production versions mandatory for manufactured materials;
    Purchasing info records proper source of supply
     Source list just restricts sources of supply.
     Storage location is replaced by MRP area level
     MRP in HANA – BADI – Implementations and modifications of classic MRP have to be
    translated into HANA BADI implementations.
     The planning file was optimized for update performance
     Subcontracting logic: Materials to be provided to subcontractor shall be planned
    in MRP areas
     New forecast consumption mode “Consumption in own period”
     The S/4 HANA material number is up to 40 characters long
