should consider the convenience of different people.
• The artistic quality of bus waiting hall is mainly reflected by
exterior modelling, color, craft, decoration, pattern and so on.
• The beauty of the technical rationality of the design of the bus
waiting hall; The proportion of the appropriate proportion and size
of each part is beautiful.
• Drop in/drop off area - place from where passengers arrive/leave
station, first meet with station and get the first impression,
connection with all other means of traffic.
• Bus Station Building - a place where all the facilities for
terminal/station functioning are located, enables everything
from arrival to departure of passengers.
• Boarding area - space where buses arrive and leave with
passengers, and parking for buses. Positioning the station within
the urban tissue is conditioned by these three main parts of every
terminal. It is preferable that Feeder infrastructure (drop n/drop
off) area is placed
• Be human. As a part of public facilities, the bus waiting hall and
toilets is designed to be people-oriented, to understand the
physiological and psychological needs of people, and to truly
reflect the respect.
• security is the first factor of consideration before travelling and the
psychological needs
• that passengers hope to get ,which is also the main criteria of
measuring the transport service, including passengers
• Building make users friendly.

SCALE OF A TERMINUS
• It depends on the vehicular movement scale within that city and
also on size of the city e.g. Kanpur is a capital city, there is a bulk of
interstate buses so it comes under cities having large scale traffic
movement, so there would be a need for bus terminuses having
more area.
