Christmas and Carols - The Divine Essence
Christmas… the time when the world starts to bustle with joy,
enthusiasm, the time when the world is filled with the magic of
winter holidays where everyone prepares traditional food after which
you leave your mouth watering, pre-holiday cleaning of course,
holiday parties, Christmas tree and other traditions, but about the joy
of the red cheeks on the faces of the carolers?
Or about the happiness in the eyes of the family that greets
you back home? Happiness in the eyes of children who
receive gifts? Or the joy with which carolers constantly
sing the Nativity? Or the enticing smell of cake made by
my grandmother, or the wine boiled with cinnamon. Yes,
the magic of Christmas encompasses us all from small to
large.
Christmas is the Christian holiday that takes place on December
25 each year in the Gregorian calendar. Starting with the 20th
century, the Christian holiday becomes a secular holiday, being
able to be celebrated by both Christians and non-Christians, for
them the attention is focused on family groups, and for children
on gifts from Santa Claus.
This wonderful feast is not represented by an object, but by a Christian
event, the coming into the world of Jesus Christ. Christmas Day is
marked by emotion, goodwill, love of God and those around you.
The spirit of this divine feast is appropriated by
people who love us as we are! And that's the family!
This is the spirit of Christmas! The joy of having
each other. The comfort that the thought of having
people you can count on gives you. The Christmas
holiday is goodwill, it is love, warm souls,
gratitude!
The great celebration of Christmas marks the birth of our Savior,
Jesus Christ. One of the most representative, in terms of traditions
observed on this holiday is the carol.
Caroling is an ancient custom, preserved from ancestral elders
to the present day. The carol is our invaluable spiritual legacy
because it conveys news from God. Carolers joyfully go from
house to house to announce the birth of the baby Jesus Christ,
as messages blessed by the Lord.
The carol represents the proclamation of the Nativity of Christ, therefore a
good news. We remember here how the Apostles were sent to inform the
whole world of the coming of the incarnate and then risen Son of God into
the world, so the carolers are meant to do this every year.
The caroling is done on Christmas Eve, the carolers usually
gather in groups and go to the caroling, to transmit the news
from house to house and to share heavenly blessings in the heart
of each home.
Among the carols preferred by carolers who walk from door
to door today are:We carol, we carol, we carol in winter,
Good morning to Santa Claus, Here come carolers, White
flowers, Three Shepherds, What wonderful news, etc.
Christmas is a dynamic holiday, sprinkled with traditions and songs
of joy, it is a holiday of gratitude, happiness, gratitude. As
Christmas approaches, the hustle and bustle dominates everywhere.
A festive murmur of enthusiasm. Winter now seems to increase in
beauty, especially if it snows, the snow becomes a source of magic,
it is such a captivating frozen beauty! The anxiety and commotion
of the children increases, the preparations multiply, the people take
care of the household from dawn to late at night, on the chimneys
there are enticing and courageous fumes, fumes that invite you to
children's stories told in the warmth of hot oven and the smell of
cake.
MERRY
CHRISTMAS!
