Edhi Foundation is on forth position in our top 20 non government organizations
list in Pakistan.Edhi Foundation is the biggest name in Pakistan’s Non
Government Organization. It is one of the best social welfare service providers
across the world running on non-commercial, non-political and non-communal
basic Is a non-profit social welfare organization based in Pakistan. It was founded
by Abdul Sattar Edhi 1951, who served as the head of the organization until his
death on 8 July 2016. Bilquis Edhi, a nurse by profession, oversees the maternity
and adoption services of the foundation. The Edhi Foundation is headquartered in
Karachi
.

History of the edhi foundation
In 1928 Abdul sattar
edhi was born in Gujrat in India in 1939 when he was 11 year old
edhi mother suffered a major stroke and became physically mentally
disabled
Shortly after this, Edhi dropped out of school
to pr to his mother. At home, he would cater to her needs by bathing
her, taking her to the bathroom, feeding her, and much more. He
dedicated the following years of his life caring for her until she died
in early 1947 later edhi and it’s family settled down in Karachi.

whole country.– (Guinness record) Pakistan’s Edhi Foundation,
which is also listed in the Guinness Book of World Records,
operates the world’s largest ambulance network
Threats of the edhi foundation
Food security future challenge are terrist attacks from terrist
groups
According to edhi educated young people are not coming to
welfares work only women are coming
Social change and transformation by example and didction are
great motivates for edhi .the problem extend beyond the Muslim
community
