Politically, there is no legislation that affects the certain industry. Except
the laws that ensures the safety on the customers who are using it.

The economy today is currently in crisis. It is declining due to


the rapid increasing of inflation rate which is on 6.7%. The price
of rice, drinks, oils and almost in all things are increased up to
20%. And the income of the consumers is so low to sustain the
needs for everyday living. So, it could result to a negative impact
on the sales of the product. But even there are many conflicts,
the customers will still choose to buy the product since it is a
personal hygiene.
SOCIOCULTURAL

The customers are the heart of the business. Means, the


consumers or the customers do have a favorable image in
the industry. The customers are the number one basis on the
business decision making.
Customers are also health conscious, they prefer on a
product that is healthier. If the lip tint product has a bad
record that pertains on unhealthiness, the sales of a product
may drop into the lowest rate as it may be.
Culture, lifestyle, religion and population are also factors that a
business can consider. There are some religions and tribes who
are not considering the use of lip tint or any cosmetics. Example
of it are some of Muslims particularly those who are traditionally
living. And most of the nation’s population are Muslims, so it can
be a challenge to the business on how it can adjust and how it
can address the problem.

We are in the technology era. Using of high technologies,


machineries and other equipments to produce a product is so
common. It is big help for a business to be more advance and to
compete globally. Social Media, where almost everything can be
found. Means it is also a big advantage for a business to

There are many competitors that may be


encountered. Particularly, in the Lip Tint business. As of
today there are many Lip tint businesses that were
competing on each other. Examples of this companies
are the K Beauty Lip and Cheek Tint Cosmetics, Swell
Pumping Lip Tint and Skin Potion Smooch Ink. This
companies are only few for many competitors all over
the Philippines. Each Lip Tint product that those
companies produced have its differences. Some are
long-lasting, that’s why each companies makes their
customers became loyal to them. 
 
THREAT OF SUBSTITUTE PRODUCTS

Aside of lip tints, there are so many beauty


products that can be an alternative for the
customers to use. Lipstick, Lip Gloss, Lip balm are
the examples of this substitute product. These
products are also affordable, but compare to lip
tint, those alternatives are much greater in price.
Generally, lip tint, lip gloss, and lip balm costs only
100 pesos while the Lipstick is in 200 pesos. So it
is possible that customers may avail these
substitute products. Also because these substitute
products can be easily brought since it can only be
found at Malls. That is why entering the industry of
cosmetics is so hard.

money, it could be easier if the company have a lot
of profit. But, aside of time management and
money, knowledge is also required in starting a
new business. Since a company needs to manage
two or more businesses. So the competitors,
shifting attitude of customers, time, and many can
be also a barrier in entering and starting up a new
business.
BARGAINING POWER Since the customers is the heart of the

based on the customers. There are a lot of

company should lessen its price in order to
prevent loss of customers due to higher
price. It is common technique in any

what the business’ needed due to scarcity,
the company should have an ability to find
substitute material or other supplier that can
sustain what it needed.

Cebu and Cagayan. So the effect of this is they cannot be able to get the other customers since others
can’t able to buy it. Compare to the Natural Tint – developed product, it is sold all over the Philippines
from Batanes even up to Julu.
TARGET MARKET

considered as a personal hygiene, this is
trend for teens. Especially for those who
are saving money because it is
affordable for only 100 pesos. But aside
for teens the product is also fit for any
ladies young or old. It is natural with no
