Synergy Health and Safety Documentation
All students must complete the following documents to comply with Health and Safety requirements. These
need to be completed once and submitted to Synergy. Keep a copy of your documents for your records as well in
case you need to produce any of these documents for one of your clinical agencies.
1. AODA
• Modules are on the Sakai Nursing Bulletin Board site under Resources
• Complete the training, sign and submit the acknowledgment document (attached)
2. WHMIS Training
• Modules are on the Sakai “Brock Student Health and Safety Training” site under Tests & Quizzes
• Complete the training entitled “Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Training
2022”
• Submit the certificate
All forms are to be submitted to Synergy during your ESPC appointment. These must be submitted with all other
documents no later than September 7, 2022.
Welcome to the Mandatory AODA and Human Rights
Training
This new training was launched in 2015. There are three components of the training that are designed to
give a high level introduction to the Code and the AODA.
As a government requirement please prioritize the Ontario Human Rights Code Training section and
complete as soon as possible (20 min). There is a subtitled version and an American Sign Language
(ASL) version of the Ontario Human Rights Code Training, please choose one.

Instructions
1. Complete applicable sections by watching the videos.
2. If required, use the other documentation to assist you.
3. When completed, fill out the statement of completion below.
Note:
► If you are Brock staff, volunteer, full time, part-time or seasonal employee, or you provide goods or
services on behalf of Brock University you are only required to fulfill section 1 and 2 of this training
► If you are an educator at Brock you are required to fulfill 1, 2 and 3. Educators means employees who
are involved in program or course design, delivery and instruction including staff of school boards.
I certify that I have completed the AODA and Human Rights Training.
