CONDOLENCE LETTER

Condolence letters, or letters of condolence, are also known as


sympathy letters. Sending such letters is appropriate in various
personal and business situations in which some sort of loss or
tragedy has occurred, such as a death. They should always be
sincere and heartfelt. Personal condolence letters should usually be
handwritten.

1. Write your note by hand if possible

3. Refer to the deceased by name
4. Speak about the deceased in specific terms

Also known as a farewell letters, they should be kept short and to the point,
and sincere. There's no point in sending a goodbye letter that comes across
as insincere.

1. Let your friend know the purpose of writing

2. Express how great a friend he has been and

APOLOGY LETTER

A personal letter of apology, or apology letter, should be short and sincere.


If you are going to write one at all, make sure it is heartfelt, or there is
really no point. Sending someone a sincere letter of apology can have
significant impact, and can go a long way towards patching up
interpersonal differences.
STEPS
1. Apologize for the incident of bad behavior.
2. Explain why the incident played out that
way, without excusing your behavior in any
way.
3. Empathize with the reader and end on a
light and uplifting note.
THANK YOU LETTER

A personal thank you letter, or personal letter of thanks, is


typically sent to someone the sender knows personally. As with
all thank you letters, they should be short, from the heart, and
always sincere. In most cases, because they are addressed to a
friend or an acquaintance -- or even a family member -- they
should be handwritten.
STEPS
1. As this is a personal letter, you may want to
make this a handwritten or more personalized
one.
2. Express your thanks to the individual.
3. Put down what you are actually thanking the
individual for.
4. End in a positive tone.
CONGRATULATION LETTER

Letters of congratulations, or congratulations letters, are appropriate for


various situations, both personal and business. Unsolicited gestures such as
this are good practice, both in business and in friendships.

LOVE LETTER

There can be many different love letters, for many different people,
for many different situations. The more your letter comes from the
heart, the more impact it will have on another heart. For maximum
effect, your love letter should be handwritten, if at all possible. If
you are truly serious and you want to express that sincerely, an e-
mail or a text just won't cut it.

spouse/lover/partner
2. Show why you love her in the first place and until now
3. Show your intention with your spouse/lover/partner in
the future
