CREATING AN HOS REPORT

1. Create new report in TD

2. Import logfiles in related report
3. Import Cellfile for PRE and POST
4. Import GIS to check unaccessible route
5. Create composite
6. Plotting the imported logfiles
7. KPI calculation
8. Filling Histrogram
9. Fill Site ID and Site Configurations
1. CREATE A NEW PROJECT

Project List- Create New Project

- Fill project name and then save and close
2. IMPORT LOGFILES

U can also call Import box using the

Short Key: Ctrl + I
• Choose Target Project to import logfiles (red arrow)
• Select data u wanna import (green arrow)
• Change the logfile name received from dt team.
Rename the logfiles folder and copy folder name,
Open folder and change all logfiles name:
Ctrl+A , F2 , Ctrl+V , enter
Select all and click Import
• Change the Target dataset name as logfile folder name, (Paste in
the box coz already copied before)
• Importing status can check in Task Window.
• When import complete, all data imported can check in Explorer
>Dataset > Datasets
1 2
3. IMPORT CELLFILE

• Short Key: Ctrl + N

• Change target project
• Browse ur saved cellfile and Import.
• For PRE, use cellfile before splitting
sector.
3
• In photo 3, S1 and S2 splitted at the same
time for MWW3434.
• Cellfile can update by adding data for
new sectors from Update Planning
Master Database into it. 4
5
• To see cell layers and PSC colors in TD;
Cells>>
>>Uploaded cellfile>>
>>Edit View Options 6

Change some settings in Pie as shown in

Picture 5.
Site Label and PSC numbers can be seen 7

as shown in Picture 6 and 7.

4. IMPORT GIS
1 2

• Importing GIS is to show Actual Route and

Unaccessible Roads that contains in the route
• Change KML/KMZ for route to TAB file and
use only Placemark for GIS.
1. Short Key: Ctrl + G
2. Select ur target geo area, add ur TAB file and
then Import 3
3. In Project Properties, change Geo area and
Save
4. Explorer > GIS/Coverage Map and Drag GIS
Image/Maps into Map View 4
1 2
5. CREATE COMPOSITE

1. Explorer > Dataset > Composite(Integrated) Right Click

> Create/Edit Static Composite Dataset
2. Create new composite for each methodology (Device)
3. Change device grouping method from File_Name to
Device
3
4. Drag data into Members of group and Save.
Laptop1 : SCN _ MS3 ; LC dual _ MS1
Laptop2 : DL2100 _ MS1 ; LC2100 _ MS2

4
Results can check by plotting from
Composite(Integrated).
6. PLOTTING THE IMPORTED LOGFILES

 SCANNER_MS3
Scanner: 1.RSCP and 2.ECIO for F1, F2 and F3
SCN_PRE > WCDMA PSC Scanning-UARFCN #03[2987]
1. > Sc Aggr Ec(dBm) >
Sort By: Sc Peak or Aggr Ec > Top #1
2. > SC Aggr Ec/Io (dB) >
Sort By: Sc Peak or Aggr Ec > Top #1
Scanner: 3.PSC (need to check only F1 and F2)
3. > PSC >
Sort By: Sc Peak or Aggr Ec > Top #1

Send or Drag Top #1 into to Map View

 SCANNER_MS3

Pilot Pollution Plots for F1, F2 & F3
• Advanced Metric & Event (Pre-defined) >>
>> WCDMA_Pilot_Analysis
>> Metrics > Scanner-Based:
>>F01,F02,F03_DL_UARFCN are for checking frequency
>>F01,F02,F03_Scanner_Number_Potential_Pilot_Polluter
plots are used for Pilot Pollution
3
• Sometimes, while checking 1
F01,F02,F03_DL_UARFCN we get mixing
frequencies result as shown in Pic 4.
• Need to reimport for this Scanner round until
2
we get only one frequeny for each plot as
shown in Pic 3.
• Coz this condition will give unexact result
while calculating KPI for SCN_PP.

 LC dual_MS1 to MS2 &
 LC2100 _ MS2
RSCP, ECIO, BLER, Tx Power, Pilot pollutions & PSC 2

7. KPI CALCULATION
1 2 3
Fill in Drive Test KPI Summary sheet in report
 SCANNER
• RSCP and ECIO sample counts fill in related Frequency
sample counting box.
• Pilot Pollution (%)
Drag or send
F01,F02,F03_DL_UARFCN and
F01,F02,F03_SCN_No:_Potential_PP into Table view.
4
And Save to excel (Orange Arrow)
• Open saved excel file 1 3
• (1) Select(Ctrl + Shift + Down arrow) and cut all data from
F02_DL_UARFCN and
F02_SCN_No:_Potential_PP (Column H and I).
• Paste below the list of F01_DL_UARFCN and
F02_SCN_No:_Potential_PP (Column F and G).
• F03 data paste below the list in Column F and G.
• (2) Select colum F and G, and save to Pivot Table view. 2

• (3) Add F01_DL_UARFCN into rows and

F02_SCN_No:_Potential_PP into Columns and Values.
• (4) Sum all the sample count starting from 1 to end,
here, the last number is 6.
• Divide the total sum value by Grand total ( L/K)
• Change the last result to % and take two decimal places.
• This % is Pilot Pollution of the Scanner.
