GROUND RULES OF CLASS
 Cellphones on silent
 Classes on time;
 Starting class = Time of class + 5 Minutes = Lecture Starts

 Attendance mandatory for each class. If at time of attendance not


available – will be marked absent.
 2 attendances will be taken in class; First start of class; second right after
break
 Break time = 20 minutes
 Namaz break only for praying and lecture will continue

 Quizes (3 Nos), Missed it – your loss


 Makeup quiz covering entire lectures from first to last will be part of the
makeup quiz in 15th class

 Assignments (3 Nos) as per the need
 For quizzes and Assignments time and date will be communicated to
all one week prior to taking it.
 Assignments will have to be submitted one day before the next session

 Mids and Finals –


 No grace marks, only 1 mark if next grade is being compromised
 Finals – will have the 10% of course before mids

 CRs to communicate directly with faculty


 No student allowed to write to or send text or WhatsApp messages to
faculty
 Course pack will be google drive to CR
 Weekly queries / issues / questions to be routed through CR, CR to keep a
record of all meetings with faculty.
 CR to schedule time and date with faculty for his students and communicate
accordingly

 Final discussion points and any change or addressing of issues will be
made in next coming class
 CR will be maintaining a record and list of all who wish to have a
meeting with the faculty regarding either course queries or personal
matters.
 CR will have to be present in all meetings

 Two-Way respect for gender students and faculty shall be


maintained. Strict disciplinary action is liable to be taken in case
of discrepancy/ies
 How to answer questions in Mids. and Finals will be discussed
before first assignment and will prevail for the remaining period
of semester.

COURSE ASSESSMENT
The Midterm & Final Examinations

All students must sit through a mid-term examination (30


marks) and a terminal examination (40 Marks).

Students who can apply their knowledge holistically and


creatively to real or fictitious situations can expect to perform
very well in both examinations.

Quality of answers, not quantity is the main criteria of


evaluation.

Zero marks for irrelevant material or “reproducing“ my PPT-


slides.

 Anyone who is directly or indirectly involved in;
 initiating, planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and/or
controlling a project;
 in a position which involves a substantive level of decision-making,
responsibility, communication and coordination,
 should be thoroughly familiar with all the subject areas, methodology,
processes and tools and techniques of project management.

WHAT KIND OF PROJECT MANAGER ARE
YOU?
 Accidental Project Manager
 Usually, this project manager comes up through the ranks. For instance, a strong programmer
becomes the project manager on a development project. Or a strong network technician becomes the
project manager on a large network upgrade. These people understand the types of projects that they
are managing, they can build a work plan, and they can assign work to other team members. However,
they don't have a lot of project management discipline.

 Good Project Manager


 The second type of project manager understands that successful project management
requires you to manage issues, scope, communication, risk, etc.
 Proactive Project Manager
 the third type, is someone who has made the mental transition to apply his or her discipline
on a proactive and ongoing basis.
