    Historian SE Changes
     The goal is to simplify and focus the type of Historian applications we want RA sales to pursue
     Our sweet spot is selling our Historian on top of Rockwell hardware
     We can leverage the premier integration with our controller hardware
     We can extend an opportunity by leveraging our seamless integration between software
    products
     We understand there will always be some kind of 3rd party data sources, so we now allow the first
    5,000 tags to be from any device
     In an effort to simplify and focus our selling efforts, we are making the following changes.

    Historian Tag Licensing Changes
     With the release of Historian SE 5.01, we announced the obsolescence of the following catalog items
     9518-HSE10K3ADD(M) Historian SE - 10,000 points, 3rd Party
     9518-HSE20K3ADD(M) Historian SE - 20,000 points, 3rd Party
     We are also obsoleting the 500 tag 3rd party catalog items (no longer necessary with 5,000 tag limit)
     9518-HSE5003ADD(M) Historian SE - 500 points, 3rd Party
     In an effort to encourage having a conversation about larger opportunities, we are putting some
    additional restrictions on the 50K and 100K Historian tag licensing
     The 50K, 9518-HSE50K(M) and 100K, 9518-HSE100K(M) catalog items will be removed from ProposalWorks and
    remain under Product Manager restriction pending a review of the opportunity
     The intention is that we are offering the customer the best solution when considering a joint solution from Rockwell
    and OSIsoft as a possibility
     This doesn’t mean we won’t let a given opportunity proceed – we just want an opportunity to discuss options prior
    to an order being entered in SAP

    Supported Historian Interfaces
     We will continue to support the following Historian Interfaces
     9518-HINUNIFILE – Universal File Interface
     9518-HINRELDB – ODBC Relational DB Interface
     9518-HINOPCHDA – OPC HDA Interface
     For the majority of the devices, you can use FactoryTalk Live Data interface with an OPC Server
    (such as KepWare) to collect data from third party devices
     Still requires 3rd party tag licensing if more that 5,000 data points
     Use the Universal File Interface for importing data from text file (e.g. manually collected data)
     Use the ODBC interface to access data stored in a database or other source that supports ODBC
     Use the OPCHDA interface for device that support the OPC Historical Data Access (HDA) protocol
     Data collected through these interfaces are subject to the same 3 rd party tag rules as above
