PO – What does it mean?
• Product Owner: Key role in the Agile Framework and is the toughest
role to carry out.
• Represents: A Business Unit. Typically a process analyst representing
the customer experience.
• Custodian of: Product’s vision
• Motive: Minimum Viable Product (MVP). Believes in creating value
to the customers.
• Collaborates: With the Biz and Tech team.
• Manages: What gets built in what order?

• High performing PO in a team will result in creating a better system


and a valuable product.

Key KPIs for a PO
• Engagement - team focus on teh vlaue. hence engagement is imp. Not to
Over or Under Engineer the product.
• Value - Prioritization of features. Min the risk. Incremental values. not
based on the developers needs. MVP.

• Decision Making - Decision making - understand flow and keep teh team
moving. Features and products will cost more. Ensure the Dev team is not
slowed out.

Without any of these the product will suffer!

What does a PO do?

• In Agile, we don't design everything in detail upfront, instead we look at it as a
learning process. We develop and learn what works and what doesn't as we go. 
• Ensures: Right Features are in the Right Order
•  Balance the Value, Cost and Risk.
– To strike a balance between the under- and over-engineering.
• Vision > Product RoadMap > Roadmaps value and Risk > MVP. > Product Backlog.
• Product Vision - sets the direction.
• Target group - to whom the product is built for
• Goals - what are the goals of th etarget grop
• Needs - what is required
• Value - motivator to change.
