Recommendation based of Industry level Analysis
• 1: Customer seamless experience to be improved

• Problem: Transitioning between online and in-store experience,

customers journey to be seamless. In fact, most customers now want
omnichannel mode of shopping option where they can buy products from
a specific store at their convenience. The new generation of shoppers is
increasingly looking for instant gratification -- the same level of immediacy
they’re accustomed to with their phone.
• Solution: Store should provide customer with plethora of buying options
such as both online and offline models. This will ensure both online as
well as brick and mortar preferring customer are captured and none are
cannibalized in the process.
• By leveraging new technologies like AI to augment store associates
-- not replace them -- retailers can give their team the superpowers
they need to provide exceptional customer service.
Recommendation based of Industry level Analysis

• Ensure strategic expansion based on demographic requirement

• In order to have first mover advantage the organization should open

stores at strategically chosen area where no other competitor presence is
there and where retailers products can easily resonate with customer
needs. Even if first mover advantage is missing, scope should be to open a
larger store catering to a bigger number of customer and in turn creating
economies of scale. Since a bigger store can always absorb large number
of diversified products, the niche customers number will increase in
general.
• To reduce risk, retailers should consider market opportunities where
common infrastructure can be leveraged and consumer taste and cultural
tendency (e.g. Language) are relatively similar.
