According to Stephen Robbins, “ A group may be defined as two or
more individuals, interacting and interdependent, who have come together to
achieve particular objectives”.
Advantages of groups:

• Groups can achieve positive synergy.
• High performance entities.
• Helps to achieve a joint goal.
• Information exchange.
• Team commitment.
• It improves relationships.

Disadvantages of groups:-
• It may results in negative synergy.
