5. HUMANS IDEALS AS PURSUED INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY
HUMAN VALUES, PRIORITIES AND BEHAVIOR
• VALUES IS THE IDEALS THAT GIVE SIGNIFICANCE IN OUR LIVES AND
REFLECTED THROUGH THE PRIORITIES THAT WE CHOOSE AND THAT WE ACT

• PHYSIOLOGIC NEEDS (BASIC HUMAN NEEDS TO KEEP THE BODY HEALTHY AND FIT)
• SAFETY NEEDS – SAFETY AND STABILITY (PSYCHOLOGICAL)
• LOVE AND BELONGINGNESS NEEDS – BEING IN A MUTUAL RELATIONSHIP OF
AFFECTION, CARE AND NURTURE
• ESTEEM NEEDS – SELF RESPECT AND RESPECT FROM OTHERS
• SELF ACTUALIZATION – PURSUES ULTIMATE VALUES AND TIMELESS PRINCIPLES
