- Strengthening of Farmer Association thru trainings; linkages and

networking to other player in the community.
- Close coordination with DENR, EDC and LGU-Valencia as to the
possibilities in processing of Stewardship Agreement for land tenure
status of Farmer Partners for the sustainability and Insure in restoring
his/her Farm.
- Looking the possibilities of institutionalizing and rapid adaption of
MVY model project to LGU-Valencia and be implemented province wide
is through resolution and ordinances of support to the project.
E. Technology dissemination

The conduct of field day every end of the cropping season, which begins
on the 2nd year of project implementation. While, Field Visits may be
part as incentive to Farmer Partners and selected Key Farmers for
technology dissemination.
F. Establishment of CPAR Corn-Based farming
system
1. Establishment My Vine Yard (MVY) Model in hilly-land areas:
MVY model and farm plan to selected Farmer Partners
 Its shows, that the project is Sustainable, Insured in Restoring My Vine Yard
“paradise” Model (MVY Model “Come and Work in My Vine Yard , the LORD SAYs.”)
MVY Model has Components
a. Component 1: Soil and Water Conservation measures includes:
 the planting of Hedgerows / contour lines in sloping areas (above 18 degrees to
32 degrees Slope)
 Soil fertility improvement; planting of leguminous crops (Flamengia Renzonii
Madre de Cacao, etc.) as hedgerows and forage for livestock
 Adding soil ameliorants on the strips
 Establishment of soil trap o canal.
 Minimum tillage practices be part to reduce soil erosion issue among hilly-land
areas.
F. Establishment of CPAR Corn-Based farming
system
b. Component 2: Enhancing the Cropping Pattern activities.
a) Planting of Corn - legume cropping pattern (figure 6).
b) Planting of Vegetable that demonstrated the Bio-Intensive Gardening that
Food Always in the home (BIG FAITH); It is also show case the Bahay Kubo.
c) Planting of Perennial Crops (Agro-Forestry). Like Cacao, Lanzones, Rambutan,
Banana and trees.

c. Component 3: Crop-Livestock Integration

a) Goat Project
 A cut and carry of feeding; control breeding with animal health program
and fattening program
 It utilize the grasses and legumes that were planted in the contour lines o
hedgerows.
F. Establishment of CPAR Corn-Based farming
system
d. Component 4: Organic Fertilizer
Production
a) Vermie Worn and Cast Production
b) Production of Liquid fertilizer (IMO,
OHM, FFJ, FPJ, etc.)

e. Component 5: Construction of Multi-

Commodity Dryer per Farmer Partner in
reducing the post-harvest loss from 25%
to 10%.

- upgraded goat heads
Thus, this CPAR project will strongly implemented the MVY Model,
who main concern is the sustainability and Insure in Restoring the Vine Yard
of the LORD (Paradise) in such away; the farmer partners owns the land they
tilled.

On the other hand, (DENR) based on the DAO: 29 of 2004, after the PO
will successfully implement the Enhance National Greening Project (ENGP).
They will be issued with security of land tenure known as Community based
Forest management Agreement (CBFMA) for 25 years renewable for another
25 years.
1. DOBDOB FARMERS ASSOCIATION – DoFA (DOLE Registered)
2. MAKOGIHON MAG-UUMA SA PROPER DOBDOB – MMPD (DOLE
Registered)
3. MALUANAY FARMERS ASSOCIATION
The project will continuously aim to improve market access which will
include the conduct of market research and other networking activities. The
collaboration of other government institutions (SMFI, DTI, DOST, ATI, DOLE,
etc.) will be solicited in order to provide technical support to the community
in the field of production/post-harvest and organizational development.

Eventually the project shall be supervise by LGU-Valencia with Farmer

Association thus, giving them the empowerment in the management of
Funds for the next line of Farmer Beneficiaries with a roll-over scheme and
the marketing networking of Farm produce for more profitable advance to
the association.
