Session Objectives
1. Characterize learners (demographics, psycho-social,
economic and educational profile, etc.) in their
respective community.
2. Express sensitivity and compassion to the different
types of learners in the community being served
3. Identify ways by which DepEd is responding to the
different types of learners
4. Assess your current programs on reaching out to all
kinds of learners in your community
5. Develop an action plan on how to reach all learners in
the community

The School Improvement Plan (SIP) should be


“child or learner-centered”

Children Are persons below 18 years old, in line with ( DO 40, s. 2012)
the term also referred to those over 18 years old but unable
to fully take care of themselves from abuse, neglect, cruelty,
exploitation, or discrimination because of a physical or mental
disability or condition.

education system, under the supervision and tutelage of a
teacher or facilitator
