• There have been modifications and iterations of
the Reebok Performance Logo over the years.
The vector has been Reebok’s iconic symbol of
Sport Performance.
• To achieve a greater connection to the
youth market, in 2001 Reebok introduced
a new tier of product – known as Rbk. The
success of this branding influenced
Reebok to look at its overall branding
scheme and determine that the future of
the brand would best be represented by
this new logo.
• At the 50th anniversary of the brand name
in 2008, Reebok returned its brand identity
from Rbk to Reebok. While Rbk captured
a moment in time for the brand, Reebok is
timeless and reflects the company’s
heritage. The new design entails a new
font that is modern, yet simple, and
incorporates the face of the brand.
APPLE
The Newton Crest: 1976-1976

• The old logo depicts Isaac Newton sitting under a tree,

an apple dangling precipitously above his head. The
phrase on the outside border reads, “Newton… A Mind
Forever Voyaging Through Strange Seas of Thought …
Alone.”

• The first Apple logo was designed in 1976 by Ronald

Wayne, sometimes referred to as the third co-founder of
Apple.
The Rainbow Logo: 1976-1998
The “bite” in the Apple logo was originally implemented
so that people would know that it represented an apple,
and not a tomato. It also lent itself to a nerdy play on
words (bite/byte), a fitting reference for a tech company.

As for the rainbow stripes of the logo, Steve Jobs is

rumored to have insisted on using a colourful logo as a
means to “humanize” the company. Janoff has said that
there was no rhyme or reason behind the placement of
the colors themselves, noting that he wanted to have
green at the top “because that’s where the leaf was.”
The Monochrome Logo: 1998 –
Present
The rainbow colors are now omitted from the Apple
logo, instead it comprises of a silvery chrome polished
apple. It appears as shiny and elegant in its layout,
looking both stylish and modern.

The Apple logo comes with nice gradient chrome silver

design. It is one of the most recognized brand symbols in
the world today, and the shape is what identifies the
company more than the color.

The monochrome logo allowed Apple greater flexibility

when it comes to branding its products.

name GoldStar, while some other household products
(not available outside South Korea) were sold under the
brand name of Lucky.
• In 1995, to better compete in the Western
market, the company was renamed "LG",
the abbreviation of "Lucky Goldstar".
• More recently, the company associates
the letters LG with the company tagline
"Life's Good".
