Learning Objectives-

1. Students will learn that the skin, nose and tongue serve as sense organs to
collect information for the brain to interpret.

2. Students will identify basic body parts (eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hands) and
their functions.

Day 1- First , teacher will give her introduction.
Then students will be asked to give their introduction.

Day 2 -Body Parts
• Introduction of Body parts will be done by the teacher in the class.
• Page 10 ( Label the body parts) will be done .
• Name of body parts will be done in notebook.
• Note-This worksheet will be shared on
Snaphomework.
Day 3- Sense Organs
• Sense Organs will be introduced through flash cards and discussed
with students.
• Page No.4-7 of book will be done .
• Activity will be done in the class.
• “Sense Organs and their senses” will be done in the class through
worksheet.
Activity-Sensory Station
• In this activity there will be four stations –

1.Hearing Station- In 5 small containers, place a marble, a paper clip,


rice, water, and sand. The containers should not be transparent and
should be sealed and labeled.
2. Smelling Station- In 4 small containers put cotton balls, water,
vinegar, perfume. Place 1 or 2 cotton balls in each jar. Close the lids
tightly
3. Tasting Station -Small tasting samples may include crackers,
candies, lemon, sweets.
4. Touch Station- In 4 brown paper bags put a variety of materials for
students to feel. These materials may include pipe cleaners, sandpaper,
silk and/or velvet cloth samples, pom poms, feathers, plastic straws,
modelling.
Day 4-Book Exercises
• Page 8,9 will be done.
• Note-This worksheet will be
shared on snap homework.
Day 5-Revision Of Body parts and
Sense Organs
• Oral revision will be done In class.
