INTRODUCTION
SERVICES
• PSO caters to the fuel and non fuel needs of approximately 2.8 million
customers per day
• All the major government entities like OGDC, Pakistan Army, Pakistan
railways, Navy, NLC, PAF Wah and HIT have entrusted PSO to meet their
POL needs
• PSO is the sole furnace oil supplier to all Independent Power Projects in
Pakistan
• PSO also provide jet fuel into-plane refueling facilities at 9 airports of
Pakistan

NUMBER OF FACILITIES & DISTRIBUTION


• 3,754 outlets
• 26 company-owned and company-operated sites serving the retail sector
• 2,000 industrial units, business houses, power plants and airlines are being
fueled by PSO.
STORAGE

• 9 installations and 23 depots are located across the country


• PSO’s storage capacity represents approx 68% of the total storage capacity
owned by all the OMCs
TRANSPORTATION

• PSO uses three mechanisms for the movement of POL products namely, tank
lorries (road), tank wagons (railways) and pipelines
• They currently have a total fleet of 8,595 tank lorries
• White Oil Pipeline Project from Karachi to Mehmood Kot via Shikarpur and
the MFM pipeline, the supply pattern for white oil from Karachi has
switched from tank lorries to pipelines.
