Period of Revolution/Period of Rotation

The time it takes to travel once around the sun.


The time it takes an object to turn around itself.
Terrestrial Planet

Inner planets that are made or rock and metallic materials and have
a solid outer layer.
Greenhouse Effect

This occurs when a planets atmosphere traps solar energy and


causes the surface temperature to increase.
Galilean Moons

The four largest moons of Jupiter Io, Europa, Ganymede, and


Callisto.
Meteoroid

It is a small, rocky particle that moves through space.


Meteor

Is a streak of light in Earths atmosphere made by a glowing


meteoroid.
Meteorite

It is a meteoroid that strikes a planet or a moon.
