Critically choose and implement
interventions to achieve practice goals and enhance capacities of clients and constituencies. Work with individual clients to implement interventions that will assist with achieving their goals. Work with clients with the goal of enhancing their capacities and their lives.
Practice Behavior: 8.2
Apply knowledge of human behavior
and the social environment, person-inenvironment, and other multidisciplinary theoretical frameworks in interventions with clients and constituencies. Apply knowledge of social theories to select appropriate interventions for clients. Understand interventions affect individual clients differently
Practice Behavior: 8.3
Use inter-professional collaboration as
appropriate to achieve beneficial practice outcomes. Partner with other interns to plan a class for clients and members of the community to attend
Practice Behavior: 8.4
Negotiate, mediate, and advocate with
and on behalf of diverse clients and constituencies. Use counseling and motivational interviewing during work with clients
Practice Behavior: 8.5
Facilitate effective transitions and
endings that advance mutually agreedon goals. Counsel clients and encourage them to seek employment in order to reach termination goals. Offer resources that clients can choose to use to facilitate reaching goals
