    Description of Item : Double Wall Corrugated ( DWC ) HDPE pipes
    Double Wall Corrugated ( DWC ) HDPE pipes are similar to normal HDPE pipes except that they have
    different external & internal surfaces which gives them additional strength and stiffness. These are
    made with High Density Polyethylene which has very high life expectancy. These are externally
    corrugated and have smooth surface inside and are available from 75 mm to 1.0 m dia. These pipes
    are light weight and can be used for non-pressure underground sewerage, drainage & cross drainage
    (pipe culvert) including rain water harvesting purposes. They are maintenance free and therefore, once
    installed, will lie underground for years.
    Uses of DWC HDPE Pipes:
    Sewerage /Storm Water
    Drainage. Sewerage treatment
    plants.
    Earthquake prone areas with high tectonic movements.
    Drainage & Sewerage in
    Buildings/Hospitals/Workshop/Colony.

    Merits of DWC HDPE Pipes:


    D Expected Service life: 75 to 100 years.
    D Environmentally safe: No leaks, no cracks and no
    damage to environment and soil.
    D Socio-environmental friendliness: Pipe laying does not
    disturb urban clusters.
    D Cost effective: Uses minimal material for equal strength. Maintenance is low because of non
    adherence of sewage elements on the chemically inert pipe surfaces, no chance of corrosion
    and zero to low damages.
    D Ease of Installation: No heavy loading and carrying machinery is required. They are user
    friendly, very fast and inexpensive in installation. Use less manpower and can be installed in
    very constrained locations. They comes with simple push fit joints with Elastomeric sealing Ring
    for on- line system or with extra couplers. Joining time is 2-5 minutes per joint.
    D Chemical Resistance: Chemically inert to waste water ingredients and crown corrosion is
    non- existent.
    D 400mm dia DWC pipe weight only 8.4 Kg/m which is very less in comparison to RCC pipe
    & HDPE solid wall pipe.
    D Available in 6mt. standard length. Flexible & adaptable to any type of soil and earth
    condition.
    D Green piping material for environmental sustainability.
