FEATURING:
PANHANDLERS
All of us have family, friends, home, food, money and other material things. Because of them we create our dreams, hopes, and even our destiny that makes us strong and able to face the obstacles in life. Although we all have this, we always asks for more, we are not contented.
In our everyday life, we encounter different kinds of people as we go our way. Sometimes, these people brings a great impact to us. And one of them are the young beggars we always see everywhere. These children, at their young age sacrifice in order to survive. Seeing them, we realized that we are lucky because even if we are poor, there are people who are much poorer than us.

The beggars are those who need comfort of others, dont have enough foods, lacks of money or anything that makes them feel alive and happy. These people are hopeless in their life. What best description can I say about beggars? Should I accept the fact that beggars are part of my community? The questions that I need to think about their lives. But how can I settle it out without giving time for them? Without knowing their personality? As a youth, we need to help the beggars by making them realize the importance of life, by telling them that theyre not alone. Dont let them down and let us change their lives by reaching out and talk to them, their friends and their parents as well.
is the practice of imploring others to grant a favor, often a gift of money, with little or no expectation of reciprocation. Beggars may be found in public places such as transport routes, urban parks, and near busy markets. Besides money, they may also ask for cigarettes or other small items.

The journey of our life already starts even before the day we were born in this cruel world. Everyone became a child wherein the only things that we know is to play, eat and sleep. Childs life, cycled only on his friends, to his brothers and sisters and to his parents. Imagine how lucky we are if we have all of these things. We should be thankful that we have our parents who support and love us. Not all people are born with this kind of life situations. Unfortunately, some people are not blessed to have a family to be with them and a shelter that they will live in. These people that I am trying to point out are those people who live at the streets. They were spending their whole day begging money.
Who are they? Are they the cancer of the society or the Hope of our country?
These are just some of those unhappy stories of young beggars that we have here in Bulan. Although they can be stubborn or liars and even, do bad things such as stealing just to survive, we should understand how it is to be young who are supposed to be in school or at home--- playing, sleeping comfortably, or eating plenty of foods. They should be in the accountability of their parents who are expected to guide and protect them as they are growing. Unluckily, what they have is the other way around and this how life became unjust. But what was admirable with these kids was that they can still manage to smile widely and laugh out loud regardless of their real situation. And let me share with you this simple text message: God gave us EYES not to insult, but to LOOK beyond situation; A MOUTH not to criticize, but to SPEAK for truth; HANDS not to punish sinners, but to GIVE a helping hand; EARS not to be insensitive, but to HEAR voices in pain; Everything He gives us has its own purposes. Its just a matte Of choosing what is right...
What if our friend become one of them, Will you extend a helping hand or youll just pretend and act as if you dont know her?
And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:3)
