There are some different interests as there are so many different people at the college.
Throughout all different people, some of them share the same interests, like music and fashion but it could be a different genre or type in comparison.

There are so many different interests as there is so many people that go to city college.

This makes it quite difficult to choose what to include the magazine as there are so many.
It would be a lot better to create a magazine on a certain interest as you could sell it to a particular set of people.
