This pie chart shows what age group people are in, the most common was 16 years old and the least
common was 19+ this shows me that Im aiming for a 16-18 audience. This might be because there
are younger students at college than older students which helps me find my target audience.

This pie chart shows the amount of students who would buy a college magazine and the amount
that wouldnt. My results imply that 40% of students would buy a college magazine and 60%
wouldnt this may be because previous college magazines are boring and not popular enough. This
could show me that my magazine front cover should draw my audience in and engage them to pick
it up this can be achieved by making my cover lines interesting for them to want to read it and the
front cover itself should be eye catching.

Most of the people I asked are employed which means I can rise my prices as people will be able to
afford the magazine on the other hand there isnt much of a gap as 53% are employed and 47% are
unemployed which is only 6% difference so my prices would have to be reasonable as I want to aim
that every student will be able to afford my magazine.

for my readers.

I asked what students would like me to include in the college magazine and the most popular were
tips on revising and college update, this research will help me to decide what to include in my
magazine and hopefully the students will get what they asked for. The least popular was health and
safety so I know what to not include.

Freebees
12%
47% of students said that the images attract them to a magazine, this helps me because I know that
my images need to be vibrant and clear I could also include more images than text as images depict
a thousand words and this also will attracted my readers to pick up my magazine. The least popular
was freebees which helps decide whether to include a freebee or not.
College buzz
20%
C-Buzz
80%
This shows that most people preferred C-Buzz instead of College Buzz, as 80% of people liked C-buzz
better which helps me make a decision to the title to use which is obvious that I will chose c- buzz as
its the most popular.
Other
This shows that most people preferred the colour scheme with black, white and blue which narrows
down my option to what 3 colour I should use on my front cover.
Daily
Weekly
Monthly
Annually
Most of the students I asked in my questionnaire answered that they would prefer a monthly for the
college magazine to be released and some of their reasons were that they cant afford it being every
day, weekly issues would be boring as nothing would change within a week, annually would be too
long and they would miss all the school updates so monthly would be the best option.
Students
College
Both
other
These results help me decide what to include as my main image on my college magazine. The most
common was students and the college in one image as they said that would represent a college
magazine better.
Colourful layouts
Minimalistic layouts
Most people preferred the minimalistic layout which is simple and clear to read which helps me
decided what layouts to choose but there isnt much of a gap between the layouts so maybe I could
include both.
