    Thomas Green was recruited in 2007 to be an executive in the travel and hospitality division of Dynamic Displays. He had a good relationship with his supervisor Shannon McDonald. However, Green had conflicts with Frank Davis, another executive, over unrealistic sales goals and a lack of detailed information in meetings. Davis complained to McDonald about Green's performance. Their differences in approach and communication style led to frustration and interpersonal conflict. Three months later, Green was still having issues providing hard facts and details to Davis. On January 28, Davis emailed McDonald about deficiencies in Green's work without notifying Green. Green felt isolated in the company with no allies and that Davis wanted to fire him.
