Deceptions in The Last Days All
Deceptions in The Last Days All
Deceptions in The Last Days All
Dear Friends, This is one you want to read through. It is tough, challenging and revealing. Written without malice and hoping not to wound, it is designed to save as many as possible. Read with an open mind and feel free to communicate your likes, dislikes, comments, whatever. May the good LORD be with you all in these dying moments of the world.
And there was war in heaven: Michael and His angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8And prevailed not; .... 9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Rev 12:7-9)
Unfortunately, earth is the place to vent his fury (after Adam & Eve fell), having no more access to heaven. Knowing of Christs love for us, he has set out to destroy. This must be a cry from Jesus own lips; Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. (Rev 12:12). The Scriptures record he has one-third of the angels (he fooled them) with him, so he has a lot of assistants: 3 and behold a great red dragon, .... 4And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, Page 1 of 33
and did cast them to the earth. (Rev 12:3,4). These stars are the same as the angels discussed in verses 7-9 above for Jesus Himself said The seven stars are the angels... (Rev 1:20) Answer this question. If Satan can fool one-third of holy perfect angels, which person on earth, sinful as we are, is able to withstand him, noting what the Psalmist said: Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. (Psalm 51:5)? Warnings of Deception Although the devil uses anything in his malevolent attempt to get people destroyed with him, the Bible reveals that there are certain key methods that will be used in the last days to great effect. Foremost of these is spiritualism (communicating with the dead), also the gullibility of willing people for excitement, and an unwillingness to believe (or read) the straight and clear testimony of the Bible. Here is a definition of spiritualism found on the web (compiled by sceptics):
Spiritualism or spiritism is the belief that the human personality survives death and can communicate with the living through a sensitive medium. The spiritualist movement began in 1848 in upstate New York with the Fox sisters who claimed that spirits communicated with them by rapping on tables. ... some thirty years later, there were tens of thousands of mediums holding sances where spirits entertained with numerous magical tricks such as making sounds, materializing objects, making lights glow, levitating tables and moving objects across the room. The mediums demonstrated every variety of psychic power from clairvoyance and clairaudience to telekinesis and telepathy. Repeated charges of fraud* did little to stop the spiritualist movement until the 1920's when magicians such as Houdini exposed the techniques and methods of deceit used by mediums to fool even the wisest and holiest of men and women. ... For many, spiritualism was scientific proof of life after death, which didn't involve any of the superstitious non-sense of religion.
*Note: not everything is fake as we shall see later. Furthermore, the devil allows some frauds to be exposed in order for people to drop their guard and dismiss these as tricks. As a result, when the real things happen with all power and signs and lying wonders (2 Thess 2:9), many will be swept away. It is happening already. The state of the dead. The Bible is clear what happens when we die. I have sent out a study in the past a long time ago alas, many Christians believe otherwise; including things like the immortal soul although the Bible says that God is the one Who only hath immortality. (1 Tim 6:15-17). They also say people go to heaven or hell when they die, leaving one to ask about the resurrection, the judgment, and the meaning of Jesus statement; And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (Rev 22:12). These are separate studies that you can get on demand. (NB. People sleep in their graves until the last day cf John 6:39-44,54; John 11:24; Job 7:21; Dan 12:2; 1 Thess 4:16) Concerning the dead, the wisest man said For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. (Eccl 9:5). There are many more like (Psalm 115:17; Job 17:13). So why believe in these spirits? Consider the word of the Lord: 19And when they say to you, Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter, should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? 20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:19,20 (NKJV) Page 2 of 33
So, if a dead relative, Mary (mother of Jesus), Apostles, saints, whoever comes to you, rebuke them in the name of Jesus without argument, debate or comment. Turn to the Lord for help; send up a prayer to heaven. Whosoever will entertain these apparitions will certainly be lost. The Lord advised of the antichrist:
9
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. (2 Thess 2:9-11)
10
Note carefully that those who do not love the truth will get strong delusion, believe a lie and perish. Even those who are strong Christians need to be on guard for Jesus said even the very elect are in danger; For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (Matt 24:24). Are you the very elect? How do you know? Later I will tell you! Satan has men and women claiming to be Bible-believing workers and teachers who introduce subtle differences to lead people astray. The Bible warns of these:
13
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 2 Cor 11:13-15
Are you reading carefully? Certain ministers of righteousness are Satans ministers, posing as apostles of Christ. This letter here is not to be entertaining reading or something to put aside. You have to pay great care to your own soul, for the word of God can deliver you, not teachers, pastors, ministers and others. Get in the word! Do not believe everything you hear and see. Signs Now Appearing Before the coming of Christ, there will be one overmastering delusion, based on spiritualism, miracles and speaking in tongues (I know this hurts). I mean no harm or ridicule. Yes, speaking in tongues too, which started with the same spiritualism movement. There are analyses by others which I present below, but hear the testimony from the Bible:
13
And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. Rev 16:13-15
Note that this happens before Jesus comes as a thief! Ask yourselves these questions: 1. 2. 3. 4. What are these unclean spirits like? Where are they coming from? Out of the mouths of whom? What is a frogs weapon? Answer: FROGS Answer: Out of the Mouths Answer: Dragon, Beast, False Prophet Answer: Tongue Page 3 of 33
What do you think a false prophets medium for deceit is? What is said about the beast? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies... (Rev 13:5). Is this clear to you? In search for ecstasy and evidence of the spirit, [which is given by the fruit (Gal 5:22), for Jesus clearly said, by their fruits ye shall know them (Matt 7:20)]; many are now succumbing to strong delusion, to the point where they now should believe a lie. (2 Thess 2:9-11) Read the following found at this web-link: http://www.learner.org/jnorth/search/FrogNotes3.html
Q. Where do frogs live? A. They live near lakes, ponds, and streams. This habitat helps keep their skin moist, which is necessary to their survival. (Hint! Euphrates Rev 16:12) Q. What do frogs eat? A. Frogs are carnivores. They eat other animals, typically bugs and worms. Q. How do frogs hunt for food? A. Except for an occasional blink, the hunting frog sits almost motionless. It waits for a meal to fly by, then snares it with a long, sticky tongue. Q. How does a frog use its tongue? A. When a fly or bug flits by, the frog hurls out its sticky tongue, snares the prey, and curls its tongue back in to swallow the meal. It's similar to casting out a fish line, then reeling in a fish.
Do you understand what the Bible is saying? Speaking in tongues has been misapplied by the devil, and is part of the deception in the last days. The froggy devil is reeling people in. Read what others (who I know nothing about) say about speaking in tongues. Speaking in Tongues by Jeff Wehr http://www.hopeint.org/off/9611-04.htm http://www.goodnewsaboutgod.com/studies/speakingtongues.htm Speaking in Tongues http://www.picknowl.com.au/homepages/rlister/sword/sw4.htm Speaking in Tongues This comes from the reference by Jeff Wehr, similar to what I have heard before (see attachment):
A Chinese laundryman visited a charismatic church in which the members were speaking in tongues. One of the elders of the church recognized the Chinese man and visited his laundry business the following week. When he asked the Chinese man how he liked the church service, the man shook his head in disapproval. The elder said, What was wrong? I thought I heard a lady speak in tongues that sounded like Chinese. The Chinese man said, She did speak in Chinese, and she was cursing God the whole time. This is just one of many such examples, of which I have heard, of individuals who believed that they were praising God, but who were in fact cursing Him.
` What about the miracles? Many people fall for miracles such as healing of the sick, raising of the dead and other. Recall that Jesus warned of false Christs. Counterfeits do not happen unless there is the real! There cannot be a counterfeit $15 bill for there is no real. Such a bill is play-money. So, to remain safe, be on guard, be warned. The deceptions will come from a clever counterfeit of true signs God had given to His Church. All Spiritual gifts are still available if God sees it necessary. Queen of Heaven. One of the most detestable things of old was the worship of the queen of heaven. Yet it has returned with strong force, sweeping millions of Catholics, pagans, Muslims and others

away. Even mainstream Protestants (who are losing their protest) will be swept along. Listen to the record: (some links: http://www.rc.net/seattle/olqh/; http://www.geocities.com/reginamundi77/;) The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. (Jer 7:18). See also Jer 44:17-19.
So how is the queen of heaven coming back? By appearing as Mary of course. Just go to http://www.fatima.org/ and see the overwhelming signs that are happening. Browse through and read many articles, then you will understand my warning about Mel Gibsons film. Many Roman Catholics (poor things) are so used to worshipping idols and images and every bit of slavery the leaders put them through, they fall flat on their faces before the appearance of Mary, who is really Satan in disguise, for the Scriptures say, And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.. 2 Cor 11:14. Satan wants worship, for he said he will be like God.
12
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! ... 13For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Isaiah 14:12-14
I have a different, eye-opening study to send you later on how closely Satan shadows Christ. . Also, Satan causes illnesses, he can remove them. Healings are therefore not conclusive sign a person is from God. Preaching of the word alone is not conclusive sign the person is from God. Speaking in tongues is not conclusive sign the person is from God. So what do we have? What Shall We Do Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1 Here is the answer. Test EVERY person, teaching, miracle and anything else. Be sceptical. Do not accept things because some other reputable and famous people say so. Remember Satans ministers; recall Jesus betrayer was Judas of the inner circle. Do not be gullible. Pray for wisdom, ask God. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. (James 1:5)
Use the Bible: To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:20 (NKJV). If they do not match up with ALL the Bible, reject them. (I will prepare another study on how to identify a false prophet). Do not be spiritually lazy, depending on others to supply all knowledge. If so, what you think is sound Bible-teaching is spiritual poison (at worst), or pure foolishness. Then when you are destroyed by the evil one, the Scripture would have been fulfilled: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to Me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. (Hosea 4:6) Page 5 of 33
The law shows Gods people, according to the texts above [Isa 8:20; Hos 4:6]. These people who obey God are Satans earthly enemies; And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. (Rev 12:17). The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (Rev 19:10). Commandment keepers who understand prophecy are the elect, the ones saved from deception, the ones who love the truth. Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth. (Psalm 119:142). Those who do not love the truth (law) will be deluded, those who love the truth will be safe, for Jesus asked our Father to Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word is truth. (John 17:17). Does this make sense to you? Your answer _______________________ Chapter 2 Dear Friends, Last time you were given compelling proof about deceptions in the last days, and some of the counterfeits the devil is trying. Today I draw your attention to what the Bible says about the deceiver the antichrist. Popular dispensationalist theory has it that the antichrist will come after a Secret Rapture and in a 7-year tribulation. He will set up in a temple in Jerusalem and initiate some type of bloody rule, and all sort of hocus pocus. People who believe that have been fooled. It is all lies, lies, and more lies.
And the devil said to Him, All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. 7Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours. 8And Jesus answered and said to him, Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve. (Luke 4:6-8) Page 6 of 33
See what he wants. What I present here is a framework for the examination of the end-time prophecies, and more importantly to warn you to take your eyes off the sideshows and rabbit baits the hungry lion has sent our way. Always remember the underlying theme (keyword) and our interpretations will stay on track. This analysis also helps you later to understand 666. The Bible reveals some parallels between Jesus and the beast. We will discuss these parallels to show how closely the worship of Christ is matched by the worship of the beast. Recall the ancient apostasy and the work set for Elijah to do: And Elijah came to all the people, and said, How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him. But the people answered him not a word. 1 Kings 18:21
An important thing you might realise is that the people were perhaps unable to distinguish true worship from false worship. Their King, Queen and priests had confused them so much that they could not answer. Elijah prayed for a sign that the people turn back to the Lord Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that You are the LORD God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again. The Lord was gracious and determined for the people to restore true loyalty; Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench. After the demonstration, the reaction: Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, The LORD, He is God! The LORD, He is God! 1 Kings 18:37-39 God gave Nebuchadnezzar a divine panorama of future world history that could not be counterfeited by Satan (Daniel 2). Satan cannot read the mind so has no idea of dreams God gives unless they are repeated. Therein lay the failure of the magicians, the astrologers, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans to provide a bogus dream or interpretation (Daniel 2:2; Daniel 4:7; Daniel 5:11). However, on hearing the dream, Satan was moved to give Nebuchadnezzar a parallel dream, but in this one there was only one metal all of gold (Daniel 3:1). Significantly, it did not include that divine Stone that would smash it and fill the earth. Here Satan is saying that his kingdom will last. That is the story of the great controversy the arch rival of Christ trying to set up his kingdom and false worship. To do so, he simply tries to break down Gods laws (which protect against Satan), the legal basis for a kingdom, and live in anarchy. Specifically, he targets the first four laws, with special emphasis on the fourth. Proof will be provided in a future paper, by Gods grace. So how does this play out in Revelation 13? Since Satan could not stamp out Gods word (in the Dark Ages millions were killed for owning or reading the Bible) like in the days of Elijah, he tries a very close confusing parallel system, a clever counterfeit. Here are some of the parallels. 1. Both rise from the water to begin their ministry/mission. Jesus When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water Matthew 3:16 When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased. Now Jesus Himself began His ministry at about thirty years of age ... Luke 3:21-23 Page 7 of 33

Beast Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, Revelation 13:1 Both resemble their (father).
Jesus Jesus said to him, ... He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, Show us the Father'? John 14:9 God, ... has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, ... who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person... Hebrews 1:1-3 Beast [Satan] Behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns. Revelation 12:3 And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, Rev 13:1 3. Both have horns and crowns.
Jesus stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, Revelation 5:6 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. Revelation 19:12 Beast And I saw a beast... having ... ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns. Rev 13:1 4. Both receive authority (power) from their father. Jesus Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth Matt 28:18 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands John 13:3
Beast the beast which I saw... The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority Rev 13:2 5. Their ministries lasted 3 years (prophetic years for the beast).
Jesus He shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering Daniel 9:27 Beast he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. Revelation 13:5 6. After ministry came death, both were miraculously resurrected/healed.
Jesus ... Jesus showed Himself to His disciples after He was raised from the dead. John 21:14 Beast Page 8 of 33
I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed Rev 13:3 After resurrection/healing, both received worship

Jesus And they worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy Luke 24:52 Jesus met them, saying, Rejoice! So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him Matt 28:9 Beast I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. ... and they worshiped the beast, Rev 13:3, 4 8. Both received universal power thereafter
Jesus Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth Matt 28:18 Beast he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue... And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. Rev 13:5, 7 Why did we ask this question: Does Jesus Christ Have a Twin? Do you see the close parallel of the antichrists life to Christs? Do you now appreciate the deceptive nature of the antichrist and Satan? Well does Jesus Christ Have a Twin? Of course not! What did Christ and the prophets say of old?
To whom will ye liken Me, and make Me equal, and compare Me, that we may be like? Isa 46:5. Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me. Isaiah 46:9 Inasmuch as there is none like You, O LORD (You are great, and Your name is great in might), Jeremiah 10:6
So, what is our task, if we are to be saved? Jesus prayed the answer; And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. John 17:3 Make no mistake, that is the answer. Too many doctrines, too many methods, too many divergent practices and too many interpretations. Not all can be correct, not all can be true. Some must be designed by the devil to get us lost. I promise you this: If by Gods grace I get to continue exposing the deceptions, and if you listen and love the truth, you will be saved. Rev 17:1-6 points to the harlot church sitting on the beast, and unfortunately she is said to be the MOTHER OF HARLOTS (Rev 17:5), which implies she has daughter churches holding to her false doctrines. Gods very last despairing cry is; Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues (Rev 18:4). Will you (if you are in her)? Why must they come out, cant Gods people stay where they are and be saved?
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:4-6
Did you understand this message? Your Answer __________________________ P.S. Can you identify the beast breaking the first four commandments in Revelation 13 and 14? Chapter 3 Dear Friends, This is a revealing study that goes from Genesis to Revelation. The principle is so well-established it cannot be wrong. It is therefore necessary that you give close attention to this message, as it will help you to avoid the mark of the beast and be able to stand. If you have not received parts 1 and 2 let me know.
Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth--to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people-- 7saying with a loud voice, Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water. 8And another angel followed, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. 9Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. ... and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name." 12Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. (Rev 14:6-12)
In this issue: The Three Angels Message Background to the Beast & Consequences of Disobedience Who Are The Saints Introduction Rev 12:7 speaks about a war in heaven and shows that the devil and his angels were cast out (Rev 12:9). They are now in earth creating havoc seeking to destroy Gods people, who are called the remnant. At the end of chapter 12 we see that these excite the fury of Satan, And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ Rev 12:17. Revelation 13 discusses completely the beast and in the last message we showed conclusively that he is trying to be a clever counterfeit, a close replacer of Christ. In the first of this series we showed that the devil will be and is using unknown tongues to deceive people. Nevertheless, he hates the remnant, for they expose him. Today I will show you the shocking truth behind the beast and related issues. The Three Angels Message Page 10 of 33
This message is outlined above in (Rev 14:6-12). It is one message with a few key parts. The first angel has the everlasting gospel (from the start of the world) with three calls to worship. Fear God, give Him glory, worship Him as Creator (see Exo 20:8-11). This is set against the background of the judgment which now HAS COME. The second angel points to the fact that Babylon has fallen, and the third angel warns about worshipping the beast and getting his mark. This angel then points to the saints as those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. This is a summary of the great controversy. Background to the Beast & Consequences of Disobedience Thinking about how the book of Daniel is written in two languages: Hebrew in chapters 1, 8 12, and Aramaic in chapters 2 7, I realized that it held the key to a lot of the issues contained in Revelation, and brought to focus in chapters 12-14. Today we begin a fascinating study of this topic, going from the start of time to the end of the world. This is my guarantee: if you follow through with this article, you will escape the mark of the beast, deceptions in the last days and will be safe with Christ. When God took Noah through the flood, there were only eight people and all those animals. Doubtless, Noah was afraid for his life against them but the Lord made this promise: And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, ...; into your hand are they delivered. Gen 9:2 Man was to dominate over beasts of all kind (Gen 1:28). Adam was given dominion over the creatures of the earth, but through sin induced by Satan, the earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence Gen 6:11. Even the animals were corrupted and violent too. The following sad recurring theme appeared soon after with Noahs descendants, who were told to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth (they were to scatter abroad and not congregate in one place). They rebelled and concentrated in the plain of Shinar to build the tower of Babel, and the Lord eventually confused their tongue (only language) and created multiple languages. Thus we have Babylon, which literally means confusion. They were scattered abroad. Do you see the link to Daniel and Revelation yet? Here is the principle which was to be repeated over and over: God has a message for the people obey my commandments (Gen 9:1, 7) The people refuse to listen to God (Gen 11:4) God causes unknown tongues to be heard as a sign of judgment (Gen 11:7) Dispersion follows (Gen 11:8).
When God was taking the children of Israel into the promised land, there was a chapter (Deut 28) on the blessings of obedience, and the curses for disobedience. Here the principle was repeated. (a) And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day (Deut 28:1); (b) But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day (Deut 28:15); (c) The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand (Deut 28:49); (d) Then the LORD will scatter you among all peoples, ... (Deut 28:64-65); Page 11 of 33
(e) Your carcasses shall be food for all the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and no one shall frighten them away (Deut 28:26) When God made the promise to Noah, it was for the beasts to be afraid, but now it was a role reversal. Jeremiah was given the unpleasant task of preaching to the apostate country about banishment to Babylon, and also had the same warning: (a) (b) (c) (d) (e) God has a message for His people obey my commandments (Jer 4:1); If the people refuse to listen to God (Jer 5:3); God will cause unknown tongues to be heard as a sign of judgment (Jer 5:15); Dispersion will follow (Jer 5:19); Wild beasts will destroy you (Jer 7:33).
In Jer 25:11, 12; 29:10 they were promised seventy years in captivity which the book of Daniel played out. 70 years represents 1/7th of the 490 years they were in the land the time for the land to rest, to have its Sabbath. This principle was first outlined in Leviticus 26: (a) (b) (c) (d) You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary: I am the LORD (Lev 26:2); if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments (Lev 26:14); I will also send wild beasts among you (Lev 26:22); Then the land shall enjoy its Sabbaths as long as it lies desolate and you are in your enemies' land; then the land shall rest and enjoy its Sabbaths (Lev 26:34).
This is the principle which is also found in Isaiah: Obey My commandments If you do not obey You will hear unknown tongues as judgment Wild beasts will destroy you You will be scattered Genesis Gen 9:1, 7 Gen 11:4 Gen 11:7 Gen 11:8 Lev Lev 26:2 Lev 26:14 Lev 26:22 Lev 26:34 Deut Deut 28:1 Deut 28:15 Deut 28:49 Deut 28:26 Deut 28:64-65 Jer Jer 4:1 Jer 5:3 Jer 5:15 Jer 7:33 Jer 5:19
The Lord keeps His word. This leads us to the book of Daniel where the unknown tongues were heard and the wild beasts were seen. The Book of Daniel The children of Israel were rebellious to the Lord as He had feared and Daniel 1 begins with the following events all written in Hebrew: 1. Jehoiakim was ruling in Jerusalem. Nebuchadnezzar came, besieged and conquered Judah and ruined Jerusalem and temple. 2. He took away the elements of Jehovahs temple and put them in his gods temple. The place of Gods sanctuary is now destroyed, and the daily activities disrupted. 3. Gods people were carried into captivity including godly youths of Judah of royal descent, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. 4. Daniels name means God is my judge or judgment of God; Hananiah means God has favoured; Mishael means who is what God is and Azariah means Jehovah has helped. All symbolic of the drama that was to be played out before the astonished eyes of these youth and the unfallen world. Page 12 of 33
5. Nebuchadnezzar gave them new names; he gave Daniel the name of Belteshazzar (lord of the straitened's treasure); and to Hananiah the name of Shadrach (royal or the great scribe); and to Mishael, Meshach (guest of a king); and to Azariah, Abednego (servant of Nebo). 6. The Hebrew boys were forced to learn a foreign language; they were given defiling food to eat; they had to learn pagan customs and they had to associate with magicians and astrologers. All degrading things which they were taught to avoid. Do you see what is going on? Daniel means judgment of God, the disobedient children of Israel are banished to Babylon, they have to learn the Babylonian tongue Aramaic, and they see and experience the wild beasts so promised. Amazing! Do you see the connection between speaking in unknown tongues and the beasts in Rev 16:12-16 (6th plague); the hour of His judgment has come and the Lord saying Babylon is fallen, is fallen? And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall. Jer 51:44
In Dan 4:8 we learned that Belteshazzarr is like the name of Nebuchadnezzars god. Bel is the Aramaic form of Baal, the national god of the Babylonians (Isa_46:1; Jer_50:2; Jer_51:44). It signifies lord (BAAL). Bel and Nebo were pagan gods (Isaiah 46:1) so we can safely assume that Satan moved upon the king to change these godly names to pagan names to reflect his supremacy. Nevertheless, we note. 1. The Hebrew boys refused to eat the pagan food. 2. God rewarded them with extraordinary wisdom and gave them favour even in a pagan kingdom (like Joseph in Egypt). Lesson 1 One immediate lesson is that, if we remain faithful to God, though the enemy may batter us with all afflictions, though we may be called all kinds of nasty names, though we may be strangers in a foreign environment; hold on to the good things, that no one can take away, and God will be faithful. Their freedom was gone, their names were changed, their temple and country were smashed up, but their hearts were still with God. Though man looks on the outward things, God looks on the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). Be faithful unto God where it counts and He will sustain and eventually deliver you. The Aramaic Chapters Chapters 2 7 are written in Aramaic. Chapter 2 shows where the king gets a dream of a mighty metal man who had a head of gold (Babylon), chest and arms of silver (Media-Persia), belly and thighs of bronze (Greece), legs of iron (Rome), feet partly of iron and partly of clay (divided Europe). A stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet and broke them in pieces (Return of Christ). The image of gold, silver, bronze, iron and clay all showed the domination of Satans kingdom. Yet even then, as the value of the metal gets lower and lower (but gets tougher and tougher), so will Gods fight-back get stronger and stronger. Even though paganism will have a long run, and seem impregnable, the Stone will smash them all and set up an eternal kingdom, never to be challenged again. The kingdoms portrayed were all world dominating kingdoms down to the end of time, so God shows that even though Satan would appear to have world domination, He would be victorious in the end.
Daniel 3. Satan retaliates to the threatening dream by giving king Nebuchadnezzar a counter-dream. This one has an image all of gold with no stone to smash it. Satan is here telling God that his (Satans) kingdom is here to stay and will not get weaker. To prove his point, he gets the king to build the image and force worship, in direct rebellion against Gods second commandment. However, the three Hebrew boys lived up to their names their godly rather than pagan names. God has favoured and He showed who is what God is and Jehovah has helped, so although they were thrown in the fiery furnace for honouring God, God shows He honours them, He shows who God is by helping them. Stand up for God under fire, stand up for God when the world is against you, stand up for God when you are alone. Though they may call you beastly names, if you are Gods child He knows your name child of God (2 Tim 2:19). God will help for you are the apple of His eye. (Zech 2:8) . Daniel 4. Nebuchadnezzar is now being brought under the full control of God. Though he was a pagan king of the highest degree, cruel and rich and all the like, despoiler of Gods earthly people, God shows that He loves the heathen too, even if their ways are repulsive. Nebuchadnezzar is taught a lesson that should resound to all ages. No matter how rich and powerful you are, pride and self exaltation will get you humbled, you will be brought low. This was the message that is also sent to Satan who said I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High yet in the end he will be brought low, to the depths of the pit (Isaiah 14:12-15). Nebuchadnezzar repented, and he was restored and exalted too. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord and He will lift you up. (James 4:10). Daniel 5. Here Belshazzar, Nebuchadnezzars grandson did exactly the opposite. He knew the history of the kingdom yet He abused God by using the vessels of Gods temple in a drunken, debauched feast. His kingdom was therefore taken from him. In Dan 5:23 we learn that through exaltation he was brought low (Daniel pronounced judgment). Satan moved him to defy God mightily, yet it proved to no avail. His kingdom was given to the Medes and Persians that same night. This is a lesson to those in the last days who will defy Gods laws. As the Ten Commandments are disdained, as people sink to lower levels of debauchery, God will move to bring them low. Oh, how patient is God with the children of men! If we would only know of His forbearance, if we would stop to think that it is not weakness, if we would realize that the Stone will crush idolatry, we would humble ourselves. God will not be mocked (Gal 6:7), let the rebellious beware. Daniel 6 is the introduction to the Judge and judgment in detail. Satan moved on the envious rulers to set a trap for Daniel who was impeccably faithful to God. The laws of the Medes and Persians cannot be changed (neither can Gods), so they caused a law to be passed that would prevent anyone praying to any God except Darius (they were implying Darius was a God a principle that filtered down). Daniel nevertheless prayed to God in open, as his custom was, and he was discovered and sentenced to the lions den. Daniel would not break the first commandment; He knew who was his God. Daniel, which means God is my judge is honoured by God in return and delivered. This is the theme of the great controversy. God is indeed the Judge, for as Daniel said My God sent His angel and shut the lions' mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you. (Daniel 6:22). Since God is the judge, friend, will you be found innocent before Him? Are you standing for the principles of Gods kingdom, are you obeying His laws? Are you in Babylon living as the Babylonians, or are you living like one of Gods children? One day, there will be a judgment where the books will be opened. What will be found written against your name? Daniel 7. The wild beasts that were promised against the disobedient children of God were brought into view. All these beasts were of the unclean type, not allowed in the sanctuary services. Babylon is Page 14 of 33
represented by the lion, Media-Persia by the bear, Greece by the leopard and Rome by the indescribable ten-horned, iron-toothed, dragon-like beast. These beasts one can easily see portray the character of the metal image of Daniel 2. Same nations, same order. All these nations would have Gods people in captivity, with the last ugly beast giving rise to a little horn (Papal Rome) that would terribly persecute Gods people. The judgment is brought into view, however, where it is stated three times. How God wants us to know He is the judge and that everything is recorded and that judgment will be made in favour of the saints. No matter the persecution, no matter the tribulation, no matter the shame and loss and dismay, judgment is for the saints and against the wicked. Take heart, people, Daniel saw it all and it is all true. Be true to your God who is a just and faithful judge keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty. (Exo 34:7). Who Are The Saints Do you now see why Satan is angry with commandment keepers? The saints of God keep all Ten Commandments of God and have the faith and testimony of Jesus Christ. Make no mistake, these are the original commandments no matter what people say. The first angel said worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water, and the third angel said they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image. In the next message, I will show you how the devil is not contented to be angry, but is indeed breaking the first four commandments of God. People who keep Gods commandments will not succumb to the beast they will not get the mark, neither will they be scattered nor hear unknown tongues in judgment. The judgment is going on now; do you dare to be a Daniel? You may be few, but God is watching you! Consider then (now): Unknown tongues (under the influence of unclean spirits); Wild beasts (mark of the beast); Dispersion (so many denominations today). There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Eph 4:4-6 For the saints the obedient, the Lord promises (The Future Glory of Zion): No lion shall be there, Nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it; It shall not be found there. But the redeemed shall walk there Isaiah 35:9
In the new land, the Lord promises (The Land of the Majestic King) You will not see a fierce people, A people of obscure speech, beyond perception, Of a stammering tongue that you cannot understand. Isaiah 33:19
For all those scattered, the Lord promises Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, And gather you from the west Isaiah 43:5

Chapter 4 Dear Friends, Today we launch another salvo at the devil and his deceptions. This one is by far the most important for it affects all and is deceiving most of all who receives it. You will find something pretty amazing inside, near the end. You do not want to miss it. This is the study which makes all the difference. Study it prayerfully.
1) Because we keep the commandments of God. If ye love Me, keep My commandments. (John 14:15) 2) Madness consumes him for we worship God and not him by keeping our faith in Christ. 3) He is further enraged that we have prophecy correct Those who ignore Bible prophecy will accept false prophecy. We will talk about the false prophet another time. Revelation 12 outlines the history of the great controversy between Christ and Satan. It tells of the war in heaven, the persecution Christ and His church has been facing for a long time and ends with the final objects of Satans wrath the remnant. Revelation 13 gives a complete analysis of the beast. Last time we showed that the beast principle applied from the start of the world and the disobedient are always the ones to suffer from the beast. When Gods people are persecuted they are delivered like Daniel in the lions den, but if they should die, they will be resurrected to be with Jesus in glory. This chapter ends with the identification of a number, 666 which is to be explored in detail in the future. Revelation 14 outlines Gods response to the beast. It first shows the 144,000 who have the seal of God in their foreheads (obedient to the commandments). Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. (Isaiah 8:16). These follow the Lamb wherever He goes and are undefiled. Next follows three angels delivering a worldwide message. which is outlined in (Rev 14:6-12). It is one message with a few key parts. The first angel has the everlasting gospel (there has ever been only one) with three calls to worship. Fear God, give Him glory, worship Him as Creator (see Exo 20:811). This is set against the background of the judgment which now HAS COME. The second angel points to the fact that Babylon has fallen, and the third angel warns about worshipping the beast and getting his mark. This angel then points to the saints as those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. (Rev 14:12) This is a summary of the great controversy. Who will we worship? How does he fight against God? (a) He gets us to break the commandments (examined below); (b) He gets us to lose our faith in Christ; (c) Prepares false prophecy to deceive us. How the Commandments are Broken And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? Rev 13:4 This is in direct rebellion against the first commandment I am the LORD thy God ... Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Exo 20: 2, 3 Only God is to be worshipped but the dragon is worshipped via the beast. But notice the question they asked; Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him? This is a direct challenge to God who also asked To whom will ye liken Me, and make Me equal, and compare Me, that we may be like? Isa 46:5. (See also Isa 40:18,25). Recall when the controversy started the evil one said I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High (Isa 14:14), so again the Lord states Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there Page 17 of 33
is none like Me. Isa 46:9. The Lord wants us to remember the rebellion in heaven the former things of old, the background of the controversy, the worship, the compete with God issue. The Lord accepts the challenge of war And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army. Rev 19:19. See also These shall make war with the Lamb (Rev 17:14). Satan first warred in heaven and lost (Rev 12:7-9), he warred against the two witnesses Scriptures (Rev 11:7), now makes war against the saints (Rev 13:7) and all the while against God. No wonder Jesus said he was a murderer from the beginning. John 8:44 The second commandment is also broken. It states Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image ... Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them...(Exo 20:4-6). Nevertheless, the arch-rival does exactly the opposite as seen in Daniel 3, and here the two-horned beast stated they should make an image to the beast ... And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, ... and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. (Rev 13:14, 15). The third commandment states; Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain (Exo 20:7). Satan of course takes care to break it, And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. (Rev 13:6). Three ways MAN blasphemes: Claims to forgive sins (Mark 2:7); Claims to be God or like God (John 10:33) and persecute Christians in Gods name (1 Tim 1:12-14). Only one man fits. The fourth commandment is: Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy ... the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God... For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day... (Exo 20:8-11). The archenemy uses this one as his key lynchpin to compel the saints to worship him by instituting his mark the mark of the beast the big one. Thus we find the Lord retaliating by declaring worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters (Rev 14:7), quoting from Exo 20:8-11. God, after making the most dreadful warning against those who get the mark, drops another big hint by saying they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. (Rev 14:11). Only Sabbath-breakers have no rest, in a divine sense, when considered against the background of a power that is clearly breaking the first four commandments of God. Those pleasing God are identified: Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. (Rev 14:12). An Amazing Fact And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. (Rev 13:1). This beast rises from the sea with seven heads. This is the same beast we see in Daniel 7 and are told that the beast is a king, These great beasts, which are four, are four kings (Dan 7:17) and also a kingdom The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom (Dan 7:23). This is a unique establishment on earth, quite easy to find. We then turn to Revelation 17 which shows a woman riding the beast. ... one of the seven angels ... talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters . 3So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns Rev 17:1, 3 Page 18 of 33
So what is the woman? Almost everyone knows a woman in prophecy represents a church I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman Jer 6:2; For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ 2 Cor 11:2. See also Ephesians 6. So what does a woman riding a beast means? Simply this a UNION OF CHURCH AND STATE! Whenever this happens, extreme persecution occurs, as the rulers are intolerant and believe they have the God given right to exterminate heretics; that they have the right to forgive sins and keep people from heaven if they so choose. Type Inquisition in a search engine and learn. Click on the link in the extract.
The Inquisition was a permanent institution in the Catholic Church charged with the eradication of heresies. Unlike many other religions (e.g., Buddhism, Judaism), the Catholic Church has a hierarchical structure with a central bureaucracy. In the early years of the church, there were several competing sects that called themselves Christian. But after the Emperor Constantine I (280?-337 CE) made Christianity the state religion of the Roman Empire and the local administrative structures were pulled together into one hierarchy centered in Rome, doctrinal arguments were settled by Church Councils, beginning with the Council of Nicea in 325 (which formulated the Nicean Creed). Those whose beliefs or practices deviated sufficiently from the orthodoxy of the councils now became the objects of efforts to bring them into the fold. Resistance often led to persecution.
Thus this woman on the beast was drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus (Rev 17:6), but that is not our primary focus. Notice her dress very carefully: And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication. (Rev 17:4) Notice carefully: purple, scarlet, gold, precious stones, golden cup. Consider the dress of a priest in Exodus 28. You must read this chapter to see the dress of the priest. And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted ... that they may make Aaron's garments ... that he may minister unto me in the priest's office... And they shall take gold, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen... And thou shalt make the breastplate of judgment with cunning work... And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, even four rows of stones: the first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle. Exo 28:3, 5, 15, 17 The priests colours are gold, blue, purple, scarlet, along with precious stones. What colour does the harlot not have? BLUE. Why? Let us read Numbers 15. 32 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the Sabbath day. Not knowing what to do they locked him up and consulted the Lord. 35 And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. Later, to quell such rebellion the Lord said: 38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: 39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD and do them ; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring. Num 15:32, 35, 38, 39 Page 19 of 33
Do you get it. The Sabbath was broken, the Lord commanded the wearing of blue to remember the commandments. The harlot woman in Revelation 17 dresses like a priest but breaks the commandments of God and thus refuses to wear blue. She wears purple, scarlet, golden cup, jewels, no blue. Amazing!
Such a woman is thus a harlot daughter (whore) of a priest and will be burned with fire: And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire (Lev 21:9). The sentence will be carried out for we are told in (Rev 17:16) And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire (Rev 17:16) Conclusive evidence that in the last days, Gods commandments will be at the forefront of the great controversy: the issue is about authority. Who do we worship? Whose commandments do we keep?
8
This people draweth nigh unto Me with their mouth, and honoureth Me with their lips; but their heart is far from Me. 9But in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Matt 15:8, 9 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. Eccl 12:13, 14
He that hath My commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me: and he that loveth Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him. John 14:21 And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 1 John 2:3 And he that keepeth His commandments dwelleth in Him, and He in him. And hereby we know that He abideth in us, by the Spirit which He hath given us. 1 John 3:24 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments. 1 John 5:2 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous. 1 John 5:3 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Rev 14:12 Do not think that commandment breakers will get into heaven, Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Rev 22:14, so those who say the law is done away with will be burned with fire too. Who is the beast and whose authority are we subjected to? Who worships images? Page 20 of 33

of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. Rev 16:13-15 In this issue: A Solemn Warning Definition of Spiritualism The First Lie; After Effects and Study on the Truth Questions that May Still Bother You A Solemn Warning Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 1 Tim 4:1 The Bible teaches that in the last days, spiritualism will be used by the devil and his cohorts to deceive the whole world just before the coming of the Lord. A close examination of the featured text shows a three-pronged attack (1) spiritualism directly from the devil; (2) all types of blasphemy from the beast and (3) false prophecy. Furthermore, as seen in Deceptions 1, a frogs weapon is its tongue and these unclean spirits all come from the mouths of the unholy trinity. Thus speaking in tongues (a true gift from God) will be used to great effect. Finally, we see these are all spirits of devils working miracles. Thus miracle working, tongues speaking and prophecy are the main tools to be used by the devil and his antichrist. This may surprise all those who expect a bloody and violent dictator to take over. In this issue, we address the heart of spiritualism and take away its ammunition. In the end-time Satan will again use sorcery as he did in Daniels day to deceive the world (Rev 18:23). Sorcery is a supernatural agency that claims to receive its power and wisdom from the spirits of the dead. Posing as godly loved ones who have died, or as saintly clergymen who are now dead, as Bible prophets, or even the apostles or disciples of Christ (2 Cor 11:13), Satan and his angels will deceive billions. Those who believe the dead are alive, in any form, will most assuredly be deceived. Definition of Spiritualism Here is a definition of spiritualism found on the web (compiled by skeptics):
Repeated charges of fraud* did little to stop the spiritualist movement until the 1920's when magicians such as Houdini exposed the techniques and methods of deceit used by mediums to fool even the wisest and holiest of men and women. ... For many, spiritualism was scientific proof of life after death ...
*Note: not everything is fake as we shall see later. Central to the practice of this demonic tool is the belief and teaching that when a person dies, he or she does not really die. Spiritualists, universities and many churches teach this. As a result we get channeling, sances and a host of other activities all designed to get in touch with the dead. Eastern religions have reincarnation and other mystical activities (including yoga) that are all part and parcel of the multitudinous array of devices the devil
Page 22 of 33
has prepared to deceive even the elect. The end result is that people will worship Satan instead of God and will be his rightful, though deceived captives. Without going into all the manifestations, all we need to know is what God said, for if we read, hear and believe Gods word, then in our time of need, the word of God will come to our assistance. The First Lie; After Effects and Study When God made Adam and Eve, He gave them the choice to accept Him as their Lord, or to choose the devil who had already rebelled in heaven. Unlike us, the devil did not have access to their minds and every moment of their lives. The only place the devil could tempt our first parents was at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and God warned them not to eat from it for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (Genesis 2:17). Nevertheless, in deceiving Eve, the serpent said unto the woman, ye shall not surely die. (Genesis 3:4). The big surprise is that sensible men and women who claim to believe in the word of God, also say ye shall not surely die. They say when we die, Christians go straight to heaven and are gone to be with the Lord and that sinners die and go to hell and burn. Both are lies as we shall prove. 1. How did we get here in the first place? Answer: God made us from dust in the beginning, He can give breath to the dust and bones to live. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live. Ezekiel 37:5 Note: The Hebrew word in the Old Testament translated soul is Nephesh. It appears 753 times and is translated differently in the King James Version as: soul 475, life 117, person 29, mind 15, heart 15,
creature 9, body 8, himself 8, yourselves 6, dead 5, will 4, desire 4, man 3, themselves 3, any 3, appetite 2, miscellaneous 47.
The Greek word in the New Testament for soul is Psuche. It is used 105 times variously as: soul 58,
life 40, mind 3, heart 1, heartily 1, not translated 2.
2. Does this sound like something that lives on after death? What happens when a person dies? Answer: The body turns to dust again, and the spirit goes back to God, who gave it. The spirit of every person who dies, whether righteous or wicked, returns to God at death. Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 12:7 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish . Psalm 146:4 Thou hidest Thy face, they are troubled: Thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust. Psalm 104:29 But man dies and is laid away; Indeed he breathes his last And where is he? Job 14:10 3. What is the spirit that returns to God at death? Answer: The spirit that returns to God at death is the breath of life. Nowhere in all of God's book does the spirit have any life, wisdom, or feeling after a person dies. It is the breath of life and nothing more. Note how spirit and breath are used interchangeably. All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils. Job 27:3 Sever yourselves from such a man, whose breath is in his nostrils ... Isaiah 2:22 Page 23 of 33
The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. Job 33:4 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath. Job 34:14 Thus saith God the LORD, ... he that giveth breath unto the people .., and spirit to them ... Isa 42:5
4. Do souls die? Answer: According to God's Word, souls do die! We are souls, and souls die. Man is mortal (Job 4:17). Only God is immortal (1 Timothy 6:15-17). The concept of an undying, immortal soul goes against the Bible, which teaches that souls are subject to death. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. Eze 18:20. Every living soul died in the sea. Rev 16:3. Jesus, at His death, gave His spirit back to God, but His soul, like His body, was in the grave, as Peter spoke on the Day of Pentecost. So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, It is finished! And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. John 19:30 NKJV he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades [grave], nor did His flesh see corruption. Acts 2:31 NKJV see also Acts 2:27 5. Do good people go to heaven when they die? Answer: No, people do not go either to heaven or hell at death. They go to their graves to await the resurrection day at the last day Jesus said in a sermon FOUR times (John 6:39-54). All that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth. John 5:28, 29. David ... is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. For David is not ascended into the heavens. Acts 2:29, 34. ... every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:39, 40; John 6:44; John 6:54 6. What did Job know about death and waiting; and how will he see his Lord? Answer: Job knows that when he dies (1) he will see corruption and turn to dust; (2) the grave will be his house; (3) he will wait there until his change comes; (4) Paul tells us when that change is; and (5) Job will see his Redeemer in his flesh, not as a spirit for; (6) spirit is breath. If I wait, the grave is mine house. I have said to corruption, Thou art my father: to the worm, Thou art my mother, ... Job 17:13, 14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Job 14:14 For I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God. Job 19:25, 26. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. ... this mortal must put on immortality. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53
7. How much does one know or comprehend after death? Answer: God says that the dead know absolutely nothing! No memory, reward, love, hatred, envy, no activity, no wisdom, no work no nothing. If this is not good enough, nothing else will be. The living know that they shall die; but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. There is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6, 10. Page 24 of 33
The dead praise not the Lord. neither any that go down into silence Psalm 115:17
8. But can't the dead communicate with the living, and aren't they aware of what the living are doing? Answer: No, the dead cannot contact the living, nor do they know what the living are doing. They are dead. Their thoughts have perished (Psalm 146:4). So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep. Job 14:12. His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them. Job 14:21. Neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. Eccl 9:6. 9. What happens to the righteous dead at the second coming of Christ? Answer: They will be rewarded. They will be raised, given immortal bodies, and caught up to meet the Lord in the air. There would be no purpose in a resurrection if people were taken to heaven at death. Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Revelation 22:12. The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, ... and the dead in Christ shall rise ... and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17. We shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, ... and the dead shall be raised incorruptible. ... For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53. ... every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:39, 40; John 6:44; John 6:54 10. Why did the devil lie to Eve about death? Answer: Could this subject be more important than many think? It is one of the cornerstones of the devil's kingdom. He has worked powerful miracles down through the ages through people who claim to receive their power from the spirits of the dead. (Examples: Magicians of Egypt Exodus 7:11; Woman of Endor 1 Samuel 28:3-25; Sorcerers Daniel 2:2; A certain damsel Acts 16:16-18.) 11. Do devils really work miracles? Answer: Yes, indeed! Devils work incredibly convincing miracles (Revelation 13:13, 14). Satan and his angels will appear as angels of light (2 Corinthians 11:14) and, even more shocking, as Christ Himself (Matthew 24:23, 24). The universal feeling will be that Christ and His angels are leading out in a fantastic worldwide revival. The entire emphasis will seem so spiritual and be so supernatural that only God's elect will not be deceived. They are the spirits of devils, working miracles. Revelation 16:14. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matthew 24:24. 12. Why will God's people not be deceived? Answer: God's people will know from their earnest study of His book that the dead are dead, not alive. Spirits of the dead do not exist. Therefore, God's people will reject all miracle workers and teachers who claim to receive special light or work miracles by contacting the spirits of the dead. And God's people will likewise reject as dangerous and false all teachings that claim the dead are alive in any form, anywhere. Page 25 of 33
They received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Acts 17:11. If they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:20.
13. Back in Moses' day, what did God command should be done to people who taught that the dead were alive? Answer: God insisted that wizards and others with familiar spirits mediums (who claimed to be able to contact the dead) should be stoned to death. This shows how God regards the false teaching that the dead are alive. A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death; they shall stone them with stones. Leviticus 20:27 14. Belief in reincarnation is expanding rapidly today. Is this teaching biblical? Answer: Almost half of the people on earth believe in reincarnation-a teaching that the soul never dies but is instead continually reborn in a different kind of body with each succeeding generation. This teaching, however, is contrary to Scripture. The Bible says after death a person: returns to dust (Psalm 104:29), knows nothing (Ecclesiastes 9:5), possesses no mental powers (Psalm 146:4), has nothing to do with anything on earth (Ecclesiastes 9:6), does not live (2 Kings 20:1), waits in the grave (Job 17:13), and continues not (Job 14:1, 2). 15. What does God say about consulting mediums and wizards, then? Answer: They are giving you spiritual darkness they have no light. Consult your Bible for answers. And when they say to you, Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter, should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:19, 20 NKJV 16. Are you thankful for the Bible, which tells us the truth on this sensitive subject of death? Answer:
QUESTIONS THAT MAY STILL TROUBLE YOU 1. Didn't the thief on the cross go to paradise with Christ the day He died? Answer: No. In fact, on Sunday morning, Jesus said to Mary, I am not yet ascended to My Father. John 20:17. This shows that Christ did not go to heaven at death. Also note that the punctuation of the Bible is not inspired, but was added by men. The comma in Luke 23:43 should be placed after the words to day rather than before, so the passage should read, Verily I say unto thee to day, shalt thou be with me in paradise. Or, I'm telling you today when it seems that I can save no one, when I Myself am being crucified as a criminal I give you the assurance today that you will be with Me in paradise. Christ's kingdom is set up at His second coming (Matthew 25:31), and all the righteous of all ages will enter it at that time (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17) and not at death. 2. Doesn't the Bible speak of the undying, immortal soul? Answer: No, the undying, immortal soul is not mentioned in the Bible. The word immortal is found only once in the Bible, and it is in reference to God (1 Timothy 1:17). 3. At death the body returns to dust and the spirit (or breath) returns to God. But where does the soul go? Page 26 of 33
Answer: It goes nowhere. Instead, it simply ceases to exist (like the body it can be considered to be in the grave, although there is nothing). Two things must be combined to make a soul: body and breath. When the breath departs, the soul ceases to exist because it is a combination of two things. When you turn off a light, where does the light go? It does not go anywhere. It just ceases to exist. Two things must combine to make a light: a bulb and electricity. Without the combination, a light is impossible. So with the soul; unless body and breath are combined, there can be no soul. There is no such thing as a disembodied soul. 4. Can you explain John 11:26, which says, And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die? Answer: This refers not to the first death, which all people die (Hebrews 9:27), but to the second death, which only the wicked die and from which there is no resurrection (Revelation 2:11; 21:8). 5. Matthew 10:28 says, Fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Doesn't this prove that the soul is undying? Answer: No, it proves the opposite. The last half of the same verse proves that souls do die. It says, But rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. The word soul here means life and refers to eternal life, which is a gift (Romans 6:23) that will be given to the righteous at the last day (John 6:54). No one can take away the eternal life that God bestows. (See also Luke 12:4, 5.) 7. Doesn't 1 Peter 4:6 say the gospel was preached to dead people? Answer: No, it says the gospel was preached to those who are dead. They are dead now, but the gospel was preached to them while they were yet living. 8. What about the souls crying out from under the altar in Revelation 6:9, 10? Doesn't this show that souls do not die? Answer: No. This cry was figurative, as was the cry of Abel's blood (Genesis 4:10). The word soul here means people (or living beings) who had been slain for their faith. Surely no one believes that souls who die literally lie under the altar, nor do people believe that the righteous beg God to punish their enemies. Rather, the righteous beg for mercy for their enemies, as Christ did on the cross (Luke 23:34). 9. Doesn't the Bible say Christ went and preached to lost souls in hell between His crucifixion and resurrection? Answer: No, the Bible passage in question is 1 Peter 3:18-20. The preaching was done by the Spirit (verse 18) in Noah's day to people who were then living (verses 19, 20). The spirits in prison refers to people whose lives were in bondage to Satan. (See Psalm 142:7; Isaiah 42:6, 7; 61:1; and Luke 4:18.)

Answer: On the day of Pentecost, Peter preached about the final day events. There was a preview in his time, but a great outpouring will be in the end. 3. Will God's end-time church have the gift of prophecy? And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12:17 I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Revelation 19:10 Answer: Just before the chapter exposing the beast, God identifies His last-day-church as the remnant. These commandment keepers have the testimony of Jesus which is later identified as the spirit of prophecy. 4. To whom does God give His Holy Spirit? If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, ... the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, ... (John 14:15-17) And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him. (Acts 5:32) Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. Revelation 22:9 Answer: God gives His Holy Spirit to commandment keepers people who obey Him. That is why the spirit of prophecy is found in the remnant. There is a group of people who will obey God even unto death. Here we find a great clue about false prophets disobedient people who prophesy are not of God. 5. In what ways does God speak to a true prophet? And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that ... your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. Acts 2:17 If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. ... With him will I speak mouth to mouth. Numbers 12:6,8 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep Zechariah 4:1 Answer: The Lord speaks to His prophets by visions, in dreams, face to face, and through angels (see Daniel and Revelation). Crystal balls, palm readings, tea leaf deciphering, star gazing, and claiming to talk with the dead are not God's methods of communicating with a prophet. 6. What is the most important test of a prophet? To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:20 Answer: The "law and the testimony" was an Old Testament expression for "Bible." In other words, a message from someone who claims to have a prophetic utterance from God must be compared with the Bible. We must test the prophet by the Bible, and not the Bible by the prophet. Any true prophet of God will always agree 100 percent with Scripture. This is the true test. 7. What is the second test of a prophet? Page 29 of 33
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God. 1 John 4:2
Answer: A prophet of God must acknowledge and teach the truth about Jesus Christ--that He was God in human form. True prophets must also exalt Jesus, not themselves. Most false prophets seek to draw attention away from God's Word and to their own ideas. 8. What is the third test of a prophet? Ye shall know them by their fruits. Matthew 7:16 Answer: This does not mean that the prophet will be perfect. God's prophets have always had faults. However, there must be consistency between what true prophets teach and the lives they live. 9. What is the fourth test of a prophet? When the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the Lord hath truly sent him. Jeremiah 28:9 Answer: A true prophet will not make false predictions. If a prophet is of God, the things he or she says will come to pass. However, accuracy alone does not automatically qualify a person as a true prophet. Deuteronomy 13:1-3 warns that false prophets can give signs that will come to pass and then use their influence to lead people to follow other gods. A true prophet must lead people to worship God according to the Bible. The False Prophets Exposed In Deceptions 5 we looked at the background to spiritualism. There we saw that it hinges on the lie that the dead are not really dead, but that souls live on elsewhere after death. Thus a whole host of charlatans are raised up by Satan to communicate with the dead. Among this group are the false prophets. 10. Does the Bible say there will be false prophets in the last days? Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, ... Matt 7:15; And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Matt 24:11; But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies... 2 Peter 2:1 Answer: There are many warnings, for the danger is great. 11. How did Paul expose a false prophet in the New Testament? And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-Jesus. Acts 13:6 Answer: A sorcerer is also a false prophet. Bar means son and Jesus means Saviour. Hence this false prophet was claiming to be a Jewish son of the Saviour. This means he was also a false Christ. False prophets will also appear as Christ and try to prevent Gods commandment keeping people from teaching the word, as he was doing to Paul and Barnabas. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matthew 24:24 Page 30 of 33
12. What types of false prophets are specifically condemned in the Bible?
There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. Deuteronomy 18:10, 11 ... who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. Deu 18:10, 11 NKJV
"An observer of times [astrologer]; "An enchanter [magician]"; "A witch [female psychic]"; "A charmer [person who casts spells or charms]." "A consulter with familiar spirits [spirit medium]." "A wizard [male psychic]." "A necromancer [person who claims to consult with the dead]." Answer: Deuteronomy 18:9-12 says that all who do these things are an "abomination" to the Lord. For this reason, Christians should have nothing to do with them. Note also that the New Testament identified sorcery with false prophecy and this false prophet was rebuked by Paul. 13. What about those who work miracles and say they are from God? And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles... Rev 16:13-15
Answer: The Bible teach that miracles WILL BE WORKED by the devilish trinity. Note that since Gods people have the spirit of prophecy, the devil provides his false prophet too. 14. What does this false prophet do according to Revelation? And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads. Rev 13:11-16 a) b) c) d) e) f) g) He exercises the power of the first beast Makes fire to come down from heaven in the sight of people Deceives the world by miracles he has power to do Causes worship of image to the beast Has power to give life to the beast that it should speak Kill those who do not worship the image Causes all to receive the mark of the beast Page 31 of 33
Answer: This is the deadliest false prophet of all. The list of things he does is too great to go into in detail but we can see that there will be a worldwide delusion caused by this false prophet. False fire from heaven like Pentecost and Elijah on Mount Carmel will seem to add legitimacy to his work, but the people of God who read and obey will not be deceived, and by Gods grace will die for the truth. 15. Why would anyone go against God and become a false prophet? For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple. Romans 16:18 Because from the least of them even to the greatest of them, Everyone is given to covetousness; And from the prophet even to the priest, everyone deals falsely. Jeremiah 6:13 Answer: From the days of Balaam the prophet who was hired by the King of Moab (Num 22 ), down to the very last days, the Bible has one answer, For the love of money is the root of all evil (1 Tim 6:10). Greed, self-interest, covetousness and the like - these are the things that cause people to go astray. Therefore, if you see a television evangelist or other person always asking for money, always telling you to sow a seed, always begging, then you must beware. There are legitimate needs, but a lot of weeds. Speaking about false teachers and the like, Peter said (see 2 Peter 2:1-3; 2 Peter 2:10-15) They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness. 2 Peter 2:15
16. What is the word of the Lord to them? Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture! says the LORD. Jer 23:1 And the LORD said to me, The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart. Jeremiah 14:14 A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who speaks lies will not escape. Proverbs 19:5 Answer: They will NOT escape. They will burn in the Lake of Fire. 17. What are we to do then? Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 Answer: We have to test, try, prove all things. We cannot simply disregard what people say. Despise not prophesyings. Abstain from all appearance of evil. 1 Thess 5:20-22 18. How do we test and prove all things. To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:19, 20 NKJV Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. Acts 17:10, 11
Page 32 of 33
Answer: Search the Scriptures daily like the Bereans and do not believe the teachers that easily. Follow the clues for the false: (a) (b) (c) (d) (e) (f) (g) (h) (i) They seem to always want money. 2 Peter 2:15 They attempt to draw people to themselves rather than uplifting Christ. Jeremiah 23:25-27 They preach another gospel. Jeremiah 23:25-27 They do not seem to use the Bible, instead they use some other book. Isaiah 8:20 They prophecy that Jesus will come on stage at their crusade or meeting. Matthew 24:23 They say The Spirit (or God or Jesus) is telling me something right now for you. Ezekiel 22:28 They claim to heal people en masse and through television and handkerchiefs, etc. They communicate with and get inspiration from the dead. Isaiah 8:19 Their fruit is dry, dead, bitter or absent. Living lies, committing adultery, scandals aplenty, in lawsuits and most importantly, disobeying any of Gods Ten Commandments. Jeremiah 23:14 (j) They make false prophecies (predictions failed). Deuteronomy 18:22 Does this make sense to you?
