All members are responsible for hosting Bunco once during the year. Each member chooses a month to host. If you are unable to attend Bunco, let the hostess know as soon as possible so she can find a substitute. Prizes will be awarded (money) for Most Wins, Least Wins, Most Buncos, last person to roll Travel (three 2s). Bunco meets at 7:00 pm. The hostess will ring the bell at 8:00 pm to begin play. The game will stop at approximately 9:00, and prizes will be awarded.
HOSTESS The hostess is responsible for calling each member or sending invitations at least a week in advance to remind them of date and place of Bunco. Food and beverages are up to the individual hostess. The hostess is responsible for finding substitutes to sit in for absent members.
PRIZES Twelve member group: * Most Buncos $20.00 * Most Wins $15.00 * Travel $10.00 * Least Wins $5.00 SCORING Three dice are rolled at each table. one six = 1 point two sixes = 5 points three sixes = 21 points and Bunco three of a kind of any number other than six = 3 points three twos = travel Use score sheet to keep track of your points and your partners points together. All tables start rolling when the bell rings. Rolling stops when someone calls game (21 points) or Bunco. Four games are played while sitting at each table. 1) Score with partner across the table 2) Partner to left 3) Partner to right 4) Back to original partner A player continues to roll as long as a six is rolled. The roll of three of a kind other than sixes is 3 points, but ends the players turn. Only sixes allow you to continue rolling. The first team to reach 21 wins a game point for that game. Partners with the highest score at the other tables win a game point. Any player that rolls a Bunco gets a Bunco point, and the bell to start the next game. Her partner gets a game point only. If a die falls off the table during a roll, re-roll only the dice that fell. In the case of a tie, roll around the table until the tie is broken. Losers of the last (fourth) game move to the next table. Table 1 losers go to table 2, table 2 losers go to table 3, and table 3 losers go to table 1. One of the winners at each table needs to move seats (so you do not begin the new round with the same partner). If a player is partners with a Ghost and rolls a Bunco for the Ghost, she keeps the Bunco and the game point. In the case of a tie for gifts, a roll-off is required.
