 Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures


 Monitor all project activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving the project output;
 Recommend further improvement of the logical frame work;

 Preparation of monthly MIS reports;

 Organize and conduct training on M&E/MIS for project and government staff

innovations;
 Provide input and update information related to project outcome in GGCS website;

 Assist in the revision of the project log frame matrix, particularly in the areas of performance
indicators and their measurement;
 Assist in the development and/or finalization of the project Work Plan and keep it updated in
accordance with project activities and timeframes as relevant.
 Develop the overall framework, for project M&E, for example mid-term project review, impact
assessment, final evaluation, develop project Performance Monitoring Plan with relevant data
collection systems.
 Review the quality of existing data in the project subject areas, the methods of collecting it, and the

 Collect data on a regular basis to measure achievement against the performance indicators.
 Check data quality with partners.
 Maintain and administer the M&E database; analyse and aggregate findings.
 Support project progress reporting, project mid-term review and final evaluation.
 Identify areas where technical support to project partners is required. Organize refresher training on
M&E for partners as required.

advice to the supervisor on improving project performance using M&E findings.
Communication:
 Produce reports on M&E findings and prepare presentations based on M&E data as required.

 Check that monitoring data are discussed in appropriate forum and in a timely fashion in terms of
implications for future action. If necessary, create such discussions to fill any gap.

 Assist the Project Director with development of the M&E Plan for the project, including indicator
selection, target setting, reporting, database management, and developing M&E and/ performance
monitoring plans.
 Lead role in overseeing data collection, collation, storage, analysis, and reporting, ensuring that
data is of high quality and audit worthy.
 Responsible for supporting the preparation and review of program reports in collaboration with
program staff.
 Manage research activities and ensure outcomes and lessons learned are integrated into the project
and shared with relevant stakeholders.
 Provide training and mentoring to partners and staff to ensure the implementation of strong M&E
systems.
 Design and manage gender-disaggregated beneficiary monitoring and database systems.

 Assist in routine data collection and entry for various project interventions implemented in the
field and ensure that complete, accurate, clean, and consistent data is shared with the M&E
Officer for data analysis and action planning.
 Ensure proper filing and storage of M&E documents including questionnaires, monitoring
