    Qualification B.E. In Electrical & Electronics Engineering

    Experience required for


    the role 2 to 6 years of rich experience preferably in Railway Business. Candidates from non-
    Railway background can also be considered with sound knowledge of Electronic
    Systems and exposure to development of panels and/or PLC.

    Must have knowledge of Electrical Schematic of loco /Train set


    Technical competencies
     Understanding of Loco/EMU Operations and protections.
    required for the Role  Knowledge of Loco/EMU Power Equipment such as Pantograph,
    VCB, Surge arrestors etc.
     Must have knowledge of logic diagram / functional diagram
     Knowledge of System Hardware.
     Knowledge of Standards.
     Knowledge of System Integration.
     Know-how of Traction Power Converter, TCMS, Auxiliary
    Converter functionality and interface.

    Roles and The Product Development Engineer is involved in the complete development
    Responsibilities cycle of any new product.
    Ensuring the works of design and integration test of the complete Traction
    System.
    Selection and finalization of Electro-mechanical Components.
    Preparation of Bill of material and implementation of same in SAP.
    Test protocol verification and validation for Bought out items.
    Preparation of Bill of material and implementation of same in SAP.
    Interaction with purchaser and supplier regarding component make finalization,
    vendor finalization and arranging supporting documents from vendor for
    approval.
    Conducting Prototype Testing, Validation of all new products & giving support
    during commissioning & installation as well as after sales & service.
    Active involvement in customer meetings and interactions regarding
    enhancement in existing products. Interaction with customers & ToT Partners to
    resolve design improvements and for approvals.
    Analysis and understanding field issues, collaborating with the vendor to
    resolve the design changes (if required)
