Cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, at any time. If someone's

heart stops beating, every second counts. Here's what to do:
First, call 108 or your local emergency number.
Next, check the person's airway, breathing, and circulation – ABCs.
If they're unresponsive, start CPR. Place the heel of one hand on the
center of their chest, and your other hand on top.
Push down two inches, 100 times per minute. Continue until
medical help arrives.
If you're trained in CPR and the person is unconscious, give two
breaths after every 30 compressions.
Remember, CPR should only be performed by someone trained in
the procedure.
Acting quickly and correctly can save a life. Let's all be prepared!"

Microbial fuel cells

power of microorganisms to generate electricity. These bio-
electrochemical systems use microbes to break down organic
matter, producing electrons that drive an electric current.

"Imagine a power source that's renewable, sustainable, and waste-

reducing. Microbial fuel cells harness microorganisms to generate
electricity from organic matter.
If the Tamil Nadu government were to implement Microbial Fuel
Cell (MFC) technology as a project in agriculture, here are some
potential outcomes:

1. Renewable Energy Generation: energy from agricultural waste,

providing a sustainable power source for rural areas.

2. Wastewater Treatment:, reducing pollution and preserving water

resources.. Reduced Greenhouse Gas Emissions: reduce methane
emissions from agricultural waste.

5. Job Creation and Economic Growth: The project could generate

employment opportunities in rural areas, stimulating

1. Paddy Fields: MFCs can be used to treat wastewater from paddy

fields, reducing pollution and generating electricity.

2. Dairy Farms: MFCs can be employed to manage dairy waste,

producing electricity and reducing the environmental impact of
dairy farming.

3. Coconut and Sugarcane Industries: MFCs can be used to treat

wastewater from these industries, generating electricity and
reducing pollution.

4. Rural Electrification: MFCs can provide a reliable and

sustainable source of electricity for rural areas, improving the
quality of life for farmers and their communities

Challenges:

Low power output

High initial investment

Complex technology
