SEPTEMBER 2019 – PRESENT
FLUTE
Studied under Mr. Terry Lim -Professional Flutist with a Bachelor of Music Flute Performance
from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Music Flute Performance from New York
University; Performed at Kimmel Center, Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, and many more- since I was
in grade 8 and have continued my lessons to this day.

SEPTEMBER 2012 – JUNE 2024


PIANO
Studied under Mr. David Lin -Professional Pianist with a Bachelors of Music from McGill
University, Masters of Music from the Longy School of Music, and a Diplôme Supérieur from
L’Institut Jacques-Dalcroze, Switzerland- since I was 5 years old and continued with my lessons
until this June.

THEORY
Although I’d previously learned Theory from my piano teacher, I started officially taking lessons
when I was in Grade 9 with Ms. Anne-Marie Page and continued with my lessons until Grade 11.

Grade 9-12 music classes in school where I learned theory, musical literacy, performance
techniques, and music history

Senior ensemble classes where I learned to play in a concert band by playing difficult repertoire,
blending in with other players, and engaging with a conductor

SEPTEMBER 2024 – PRESENT DAY
TORONTO YOUTH WIND ORCHESTRA (TYWO) – ASSITANT PRINCIPLE/FIRST FLUTE
Selected as First Flute through audition of 300+ musicians for TYWO, one of top youth wind
orchestras in Canada. Adjudicated by Ms. Sophie Lanthier & Mr. Tristan Durie (Professional
Flutists based in Toronto). Performances help for general public at notable Toronto venues
including Meridian Arts Center & Roy Thomson Hall. Conducted by Mr. Colin Clarke

FEBRUARY 2021 – PRESENT DAY


CONFRENCE OF INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS MUSIC FESTIVAL (CISMF) WIND
ENSEMBLE – FIRST FLUTE
Accepted through selective audition process since Grade 9 to play in a band comprised of the
strongest independent school players in Ontario. Culminating performance takes place at Roy
Thomson Hall, one of the most renowned concert halls in the country.

SEPTEMBER 2021 – PRESENT DAY


ST. ANDREW’S COLLEGE WIND ENSEMBLE – BAND/SECTION LEADER & PRINCIPAL
FLUTE
Selected through an audition process in Grade 10 to join my school’s Wind Ensemble. Have
played at Roy Thomson Hall, the Aurora Cultural Center grand opening, and many school
functions. As a band and section leader, I coordinate sectionals and work with my peers on our
pieces.

SEPTEMBER 2020 – PRESENT DAY


ST. ANDREW’S COLLEGE SYMPHONIC BAND – FIRST FLUTE
Played with school’s Symphonic Band since grade 9 and have mentored younger students on the
flute. Performed at Roy Thomson Hall, many school functions, and won gold in nationals.

SEPTEMBER 2023 – PRESENT DAY


ST. ANDREW’S COLLEGE JAZZ BAND – FIRST FLUTE
Selected in grade 11 to join the SAC jazz band. Ever since, we’ve played at Roy Thomson Hall and
performed at many school events.

Awarded to one of the top bands in Ontario for outstanding musical excellence
