    POSITION DESCRIPTION

    Trainee Electrical Engineer –


    TITLE : LOCATION: UAE
    (Emiratization Role)
    DEPARTMENT: Power (ELD & ELT) REPORTS TO: Project Manager

    SUMMARY
    The incumbent shall be responsible for supporting various electrical engineering tasks within the Power Department.
    This is a trainee role aimed at fresh graduates or individuals with limited experience, offering comprehensive training
    across all key aspects of the department, including project execution, quality assurance, client relations, documentation,
    design, and commissioning. The trainee will work under the guidance of the Project Manager and senior engineers to
    develop technical and project management skills, while gaining hands-on experience in power distribution systems.

    TRAINING & MENTORSHIP

     Will undergo structured training to develop their understanding of Electrical Engineering in construction
    projects.
     Will be paired with a senior Electrical Engineer who will guide and mentor them throughout their training
    period, including on-site visits and client meetings.
     Regular feedback will be provided to help build confidence and ensure their growth in Electrical Engineering.

    TRAINING AREAS:

     Project Execution: Hands-on involvement in the management and oversight of power projects.
     Documentation: Exposure to project documentation, including technical reports and progress tracking.
     Quality Assurance: Training in ensuring project compliance with industry standards and company protocols.
     Design: Participation in the design of power distribution systems, understanding specifications and layouts.
     Commissioning: Gaining experience in the commissioning phase to ensure systems meet operational
    standards.
     Client Relations: Learning how to manage client expectations, attend client meetings, and ensure client
    satisfaction during the project lifecycle.
     Will be paired with senior engineers and a Project Manager for mentorship throughout the training period.
     Regular feedback will be provided to build confidence and ensure growth in all areas of electrical engineering,
    project management, and client interaction.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

     Participate in the design, execution, and commissioning of power distribution projects under the guidance of
    project manager
     Assist in site inspections, ensuring compliance with electrical standards and safety protocols.
     Help prepare and maintain project documentation, including design drawings, technical reports, and progress
    updates.
     Assist in the commissioning phase to ensure systems meet performance standards.
     Support in managing client expectations and addressing any client concerns during project execution.
     Ensure timely submission of reports and assist in maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
     Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues at project sites, while learning from senior engineers.
    QUALIFICATIONS

     Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.


     Basic understanding of electrical systems and industry standards is a plus but not mandatory.
     Eagerness to learn and develop skills across all areas of construction.
     Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
     Basic engineering software like AutoCAD / Reveit / Primavera / MS Project etc.
     Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
     Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
     High level of integrity and professionalism.

    OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS

     Training Period : 6 Months

     Working Days per week : 5 days (Monday – Friday)

     Working Hours : As per site timings

     Maximum hours per week : 48 Hours

     Location : Should be willing to work at both office and site.

     Attendance : Should record the daily attendance on the company attendance system

     Daily Report : Daily work report to be submitted to Project Manager every day.

     Pension Contribution : As per UAE Law

     Other Benefits : Provided depending upon job requirement

     Leave Entitlements : As per UAE Labor Law

     Salary Budget : Between AED 7,000 - 9,000 (Including employee pension contribution)

     Salary Increments : Upon successful completion of training period and performance assessment.
