Most employment will include weekend work during May and June, and then day to day work from June 18th until August 20th. Kitchen staff work to make sure meals are prepared for the campers, as well as overall kitchen maintenance. Head Cook: Responsible for the operation and preparations for quality food service. Supervises second cook, kitchen staff, dining hall, and dish staff to assure that sanitary facilities and quality food of appropriate quantities are being offered to the camp community. Coordinates food orders, invoices/billing, and inventory. Ability to cook for large groups required. Must be 21 years old. Previous management and food service experience required. Second Cook(2): Under the direction of the Head Cook, the Second Cook prepares the food as per menus set forth by the Head Cook. Previous cook experience preferred. Prefer 21 years old. Dishwasher(3): Responsible for all dishwashing, including pots and pans, cleaning of the kitchen areas. May be asked to assist in camper checkin. Must be at least 17 years of age. Dining Hall Supervisor: Responsible for the general operation of the camp dining hall, including, but not limited to: prep work, maintaining salad bar, cleaning dining hall and keeping order during mealtimes.
